2. The new boy.

Were in 1st period and I'm sitting next to Liz and Z. Janiel is sitting next to Liz and Jason next to Z. Its the same thing everytime we walk in sit and talk while the teacher just watches us. she's real chill but honestly she can't teach. So when she started walking to the front of the class and is sitting all the way in the back and not paying attention we always get in trouble but I always get us out of it. I got a way of getting outta trouble its somewhat a gift.

Mrs.B walk's up behind me, and I still hadn't noticed then Liz knees me and I turn to her asking "what's that for? " then Mrs.B laughs and says " thanks liz" "Glad your back Ari we've missed you" I could tell she was lying because we've had a history of arguments before I left. I didn't wanna get in trouble so I just gave a fake smile and said thanks. With that she walked away and we stared until she made her way back to the front of the class.

"Alright guys so we have to get working because we only got a couple months left of school and you have to pass this class to get into high school don't you " Mrs.B said and we all groaned because we knew it was true we had to pass algebra one to get into highschool. I got up to go to the bathroom not really needing to go just wanting to get outta class. I walk out of class down the hall pass the bathroom down the stairs and into the library to see Mrs. Jones. She's at her desk and I go sit next to her and she. surprised to see me. Mrs. Jones was in about her late 20's she was light skinned short and had long black hair she was like a mom to me.

"baby girl its about time you come visit, me where you been? " she asked

"If only you knew, its been complicated but it's for another time I promise okay mom"

We have a really close relationship me being in the same school for three years and always causing trouble and she used to work in the discipline office she would try to reduce my punishment cause my mom went to talk to her once and we became really close over the years.

I got up and walked in front of her and behind her is a window and I seen someone I've never seen before in the three years I've been here.

"what you looking at baby? "

"ohh nothing just at that kid walking in the building. "

"ohh him?, well he started last week I don't know much about him but he came from Markham woods and he's trouble. " "mhmm knowing you your gonna talk to him huhh? you just can't stay outta trouble can you? but Ari don't get to involved ight baby "

"yes momma I got chu" "but can't promise much" I winked and walked out and up the stairs. What seemed like 20 minutes was less than 10. I went to get some water and then someone bumped into me. I got up and wiped my mouth and seen it was the new kid.

"Damn" I said as I stared at something that wasn't from around he was tall about 5'7 curly hair with the most gorgeous eyes a mix between hazel and yellowish kinda he wasn't skinny buy not buff either he was just right. he was wearing jeans with a white shirt and tims and damn did he look fine.

"My b, you ight?

"yeah I'm good. its fine "

"cool, anyways I haven't seen you around, you new? " he said scratching the back of his neck

"nahh but you are. I've been here three years. I just hadn't been here in a while that it"

"ohh tru, well I gotta head to class "

"yeah me to I've been out for a while and I ain't trynna get in trouble "

"bett me either, where yo class as shawty? "

"down the hall, you? "

"same I got history right now"

"ight see you around " I started walking when I feel a hand on my waist I'm surprised because I only just met the kid.

"I didn't catch yo name "he said "I'm Alex by the way " with a wink after his name.

"Arelis"

"bett, lemme walk you to class Ari "

"alright " we started walking I didn't know what to say and I think he didn't either cause he wasn't saying anything either once we got to my class I knocked because the teachers have to lock the doors for safety and Liz opened the door and looked at me and him and back to me and laughed I grabbed the door and said bye to Alex and he went across the hall his class was literally across the hall.

"Liz the fuck that was for? " I said confused

"porque you already pullin the new kid when no one else can. And trust me there's bitches who are still trying after a week, he don't seem to be feeling anyone up until today "

"ion like the boy like that, yeah he cute scratch that he a fine ass motherfucker but ion like him we just met and ion kno shit bout him" "but I ain't gone lie he fine as fuck Liz "

"lemme catch that again and imma tell Jonathan, your nigga remember? " said Z, his real name is Isaiah but he doesn't like it so we call him z. he's white with dirty blonde hair and has an athletic body but doesn't do any sports that we know of

"Chill Z I know I have a boy, we just talking bout Alex that's it I'm not crushing or anything " "you don't have to bring it up okayyy " I hugged him and kissed his cheek and he turned and said "mhmm lucky I love you Ari "

I turned and looked at my phone cause it vibrated and seen it was from Liz. we would always so this well be sitting next to each other and if we don't want anyone listening to our conversation well just text it.

"so the Alex huhh " with like 5 laughing emojis along side she send me "what bout him " I said, "ohh nothing just asking I won't be surprised when you end up getting him, he obviously felling you ma"

I just read it and didn't answer. I wasn't felling him honestly and I wasn't planning to either and besides I have a boyfriend. but damn was the new boy something.
