5. Those eyes

Arelis p.o.v

I turned around and smiled. then he put his hand out and I put mines on top of his and he grabbed it and led us out throught the school gate. we were walking and I stoped and he looked at me

"anything wrong princess? " he asked. I was shocked at first cause I only just met him and he called me princess out of no where

"no just wanna kno where we headed to and I hungry "

"we gone go see a friend,  mind? " he asked

"nah its light, can we go then? "

"ye let's go " then he lead us down a road path which I knew cause I used to live around here. then we ended up in some neighborhood I haven't been in a while. "damn this place bring back memories "I said laughing a bit

"what you talking bout princess? "

"nun just I used to live here and someone I haven't talked to in a while lived here to and we have memories that it " I said.

alright so wanna kno who I'm talking bout?  okay it's story time... alright so when I was in forth grade my mom my sister and I moved in with my aunt.  I loved living with my aunt because she would always spoil me and my sister.  so one day she dropped us of at school because we missed our bus and my mom was at work.  when we got to school I walked to class and my sister to hers I was in forth grade and she was in first. As I was walking in I seen Julia in my seat,  Julia was the rich girl of the class. I hated her she was obnoxious. well long story short she refused to get out my seat and I grabbed the closest thing to me and hit her with it. I grabbed a book and hit her right in the forehead. I got in trouble and sent to the principals office.

once in the principals office explained what happened but he didn't believe me cause I would always get sent into his office for something. instead of giving me a punishment I got switched out of my class and into another class.

I was in my new class and the teacher told the class my name and why I got put in her class. all the kids looked at me strange I think knowing that I hit a girl in the head with a book scared them so they looked at me as if I would hurt them. she made me sit next to this boy named A.J he was a bit taller than me and I was short I still am but this was back in forth grade now I'm in eight he had dark brown hair and it was really wavy in a boyish type of way he had chocolate brown eyes that I thought were different than any other brown eyes and his ear was pierced with a earing. he was cute, and I had never said anyone in this school was cute before.

he looked at me and said "so what book was it? "

"I don't even know I just made sure it was a hard covered one so it would hurt more "

"nice,  I'm a.j by the way"

"yeah I know. I'm Arelis" I said

"yeah I also know your name"

we became good friends well I was his friend and he was my crush. two weeks went by before we realized we lived in the same neighborhood. we didn't know because when I was on my bus he wasn't and when he was on the bus I wasn't until one day we were both on the bus and that made us even closer. I would constantly go to a.j's house and he would go to mines. I found out his real name was Alexander I liked it. I also found out he had a fraternal twin and that his parents were divorced and his twin lived with his dad. ohh and he had a smaller brother. on weekends I would spend the night at his house and sometimes during the week he would so and the night at my house. it wasn't often cause I still did live with my aunt, mom and sister,  he would be over at my house after school everyday tho so much he started calling my mom his mom to I didn't mind because I would call his mom my mom to. our moms eventually met and became good friends as well. we had less than a month left of school when my mom told my sister and I we were moving to Orlando. I was crushed because that meant I would have to leave a.j behind. I cried when she told us I was hurt I ran out the door and went to a.j's. I told him what my mom told me and cried. I forgot what happened after that but I woke up in a.j's bed with a.j. his hand was around my shoulders hugging me. I stayed like that till he woke up then we walked to my house and my mom was done packing our things and I said bye to a.j his mom and little brother since I had become really close to him as well.

before we left a.j grabbed my hand and took me a pond in our neighborhood were we would always go to throw rocks when we were upset it was like our spot. he hugged me while I cried and then he said something I never expected him to say. he said he loved me and I was his first crush and that since I was put in his class he's liked me. I told him I liked him to and that I thought he just saw me as a friend. then we hugged again and my mom came up and said were leaving. she then walked away, I wasn't ready to let go so he pulled away because he knew that I wouldn't. then he did the unexpected he kissed me. A.j was my first kiss my first crush and my best friend we were inseparable for a little less than a year. and it all ended like that with a kiss. we walked back after the kiss we didn't say anything just walked.

I got In the car and my mom and sister said bye to my aunt and a.j and his mom and brother . all I did was stare at a.j and he stared back right before we pulled of he mouthed ' I love you '. and that was the last thing I remember about a.j

and now being back in the same place where our friendship began made me think what happened to him if he still lived here or were is he all these questions popped into my head. then I remembered I was with Alex and I snapped back into reality.

"alright,  well were here at my boys house he won't mind us coming over and I also haven't seen him in a while just wanna catch up. I bet you'd like him he chill as fuck I promise. "Alex said as he knocked on the door and a boy opened the door

he was tall maybe 5'8 with brown wavy hair and chocolate brown eyes... wait I know those chocolate brown eyes, they belong to... no can't be I haven't seen him in about four years. can it really be a.j?  I had to find out but I had to be discreet.

I just stood there as they talked and then he turned to me and said "hey I'm a.j" ohh god what was I gonna say I can't tell him who I am not right now. I was thinking that I forgot to answer.  then I realized he was staring at me. not just me but my eyes he would always tell me he loved my eyes when we were younger and that he would never forget them.

"do I know you? you look familiar. Especially your eyes they look like my best friends that I haven't seen since she moved to Orlando"

"hey Ari didn't you say you use to live in Orlando a while back? " Alex said.  Damn why did he have to say something. now I have to answer

"yeah I used to but it was a long time ago " I said to Alex  "ummh hey I'm Arelis " I said to a.j,  then I looked at a.j face and he looked shocked

"Arelis??  Arelis Ramos?? " he said but his voice cracked

"Yea Ramos"

"Elis that really you?" " please tell me you remember me" a.j said with hope in his voice

"A what's going on?  Ari what is he talking about? "Alex said with a confused look on his face and a confused tone

I ignored Alex and turned to a.j and said " yes Alexander its me, no how could I forget my best friend" as I said that I couldn't help but smile. then a.j looked at me smiled and before I could say anything he picked me up and spinned me kissing my face but not my lips then he finally put me down and said "I knew those eyes were familiar and special,  they gave you away Elis, those eyes  " he said
