He slowly, almost agonizingly painfully walked over to me. He looked beautiful in the haunted looking forest. I was stuck in place as his ice blue eyes pierced into my dark hazel ones.

One thing was on my mind, screaming at me "run! Run! RUN!"

But I couldn't. It was almost like I didn't want too. His eyes looked at me, almost pleading with me. With each step he took towards me my heart soared and I was sure right then and there at the ripe age of sixteen I was going to have a heart attack. I mean heart troubles did run through my family, maybe that was the way I was supposed to die.. Wait no what am I thinking. Dear goodness snap out of it Melodie.

"Melodie," he said kind of begrudgingly but that didn't matter because all I was paying attention to was the way he said it and man did it sound hot.

"Melodie," he said again almost anxiously. I shut my eyes tightly trying to remember how to breathe.

"Please, look at me. Please." he sounded so hurt that I had to open my eyes but as soon as I did I regretted it. Dang it stupid heart don't you know how to work properly and I mean come on lungs you're kind of slacking here.

A deep chuckle erupted from the boys lips in front of me and man was that a sight to see, but wait what was so funny, I thought to myself. Or at least I thought I did. But once again I was proven wrong.

"You-just said that- all out- loud.", he said between dark chuckles.

The way he laughed was so picture perfect that you couldn't help but want to touch the boy to see if you could soak up all the joy radiating off of him. Mindlessly I reached out and touched his chiseled jaw and he quitted down quite quickly may I add.

He blinked rapidly and looked at me as if he was DaVinci and I was his muse. I quickly tried to remove my hand from his face but he held it there firmly in place.

"Melodie?", he spoke lowly, "I need to tell you something."

"Yes?" I said still stuck under his captivating gaze.

Pay close attention." he said. "You cannot trust anyone, your friends, acquaintances, even your own family but you cannot especially trust-"

BEEP BEEP BEEP

Ugh where's my phone. Dear goodness. Why won't it SHUT UP. Does it not understand that I was in the middle of a dream and oh man what a gorgeous dream it was. With that body luscious, god-looking boy. Finally my alarm clock turned off by itself and I was able to fall back into another swoon worthy-BEEP BEEP BEEP

You have got to be kidding me! Okay you know what, whatever I'm up, are you happy now alarm clock, I thought so.

Oh no, crap, crap, crap. It's 7:15 which mean I have to be in class no less than fifteen minutes from now. UGH. How could I lose track of time so easily. I guess that's what happens when you have a god-worthy looking boy captivating dreams.

Okay. It's okay I got this. Just brush my hair, grab clothes, swipe of mascara, and breakfast. Okay keys? Oh no. Where are my keys? Please tell me he didn't! Ugh, not again. I swear I'm gonna kill my brother when he gets home. Okay looks like I'm walking, actually it's like already 7:23 so I'll be running, really quickly.

I ran into school frantically looking for Marissa, my best friend since kindergarten. As I looked I saw her pastel curly ponytail bouncing in the crowd of Juniors.

"Marissa!" I shouted. "Let's go. Come on move it! We've got to get to first hour."

"Woah. Slow down! You know I don't do this whole running thing."Marissa shouted with a sour look on her pale cream face.

Whatever." I said as I laughed at the look on her face. It was actually quite funny seeing Marissa run. If a penguin and a baby giraffe gave birth to a human that's exactly what Marissa looked right now. You could never tell that she didn't like to exercise because of the build of her tight body but man oh man did she make it apparent to all of her friends that she didn't do "that whole running thing." Even so she always had guys turning and looking her way, which I couldn't help but be a little jealous of.

Just as we rounded the corner and sprinted into our first hour Chemistry class with Mr.Morris I ran smack into what I thought was a brick wall.

"Dang it." I muttered under my breath while rubbing my newly bruised forehead.

"Maybe you'll watch we're you're going next time sweetheart." Zach said whilst sickly smiling at me.

I really did not have time to deal with him right now. I just needed to move around him and walk into my class so I wouldn't ruin my perfect attendance record for four years and running. But no, Zach was not having any of that and it wasn't like I could just push him out of the way, I mean come on that guy was built like a cement truck.

"Excuse me." I said softly.

"You're excused."he said all the whilst smirking. Ha ha ha I bet that took all his brain power.

"What was that love?" He said menacingly. What? I didn't say anything. Oh no I spoke my thoughts out loud... again. Gosh dang it.

"I believe she called you a bloody idiot and would like for you to move out of her way." said a voice out of the shadows, which oddly sounded familiar.

"And just might who you be?" asked Zach, looking around for a body that the voice belonged to.

"My names Xander Ryder. And we'll my friends call me- oh wait I guess I don't need to tell you since we won't be becoming friends anytime soon." And just like in my dreams the black as midnight haired boy with those striking blue eyes stepped out of the now moving shadows.
