Chapter 6: Meet Alpha Jerk
I turned completely around towards him, feeling the power and anger radiating off of him like a tidal wave.
My eyes ran slowly up his body, he was huge, muscled and tall. His six pack abs protruded through his tight black shirt, and so did his chiselled chest. I had an unnerving urge to reach my arm up and run my hand down over his chest and abs. He was tan like the rest of the boys here, and his arms were thick tree trunk arms of pure muscle, looking threatening and strong.
My eyes finally made it to his face, gliding up his perfectly square jaw and cheek bones, past his full, amazingly carved lips and nose, to his eyes that were hiding slightly behind his pure black shaggy hair.
My mouth hung open as I stared into the most beautiful shade of grey eyes I ever saw. I felt like I was being seen through into my soul with the cool depths of them. I heard someone growl behind me and I quickly shook my head mentally, knocking myself out of the strange trance I was in. He was hot, I’ll admit, but I won’t let him get to me.
I turned my head to see Kyle standing at my side, glaring at the alpha. I turned my attention back to the alpha in front of me, his eyes were cold, his face turned up in a sneer.
“Is there a reason for a couple of pups trespassing on my land? Or is this a suicide attempt?” he asked harshly.
“We aren’t pups,” I growled loudly. “We’re here because of personal reasons.” I muttered.
“What reasons?” he asked, taking a small step towards me. I quickly took a step back even though something inside me was begging me to close the distance. I quickly muted it.
“None of your business.” I snapped.
“You’re on my land. It is my business.” he snapped back, his eyes darkening. I started getting lost in them again, shaking my head quickly so no one would notice.
“You’re not my pack, so no. It’s not.” I gritted through my clenched teeth. He was really getting on my last nerve.
“That’s where you’re mistaken, little miss. Whoever is on my land, for whatever the reason, is my business. And since you’re trespassing, I have the right to kill you. I’d be a little more grateful if I were you, for taking the time to listen to your pathetic excuses.” he snarled.
“There is another option, Kade.” the middle guy from before said smugly. I barely noticed they moved to their alphas sides, flanking him as if prepared for a fight. “They could join the pack.” he added, the hidden meaning clear in his tone, his eyebrows wagging at me.
“I’d rather die.” I growled. This seemed to please the alpha, whom I now knew was named Kade. He smiled wickedly at me and folded his arms across his chest.
“Oh would you now?” he asked amused, his eyes lightening a bit.
“I’m loyal to my family, and my pack. And I will never join a pack of wild dogs.” I gritted out, disgusted.
“Let’s just see about that.” he growled, taking a step closer to me and grabbing me by the back of my neck, sending tiny electric shocks to bolt through my body. Kyle growled loudly beside me.
**Stand down, Kyle. He wont hurt me. Too many people watching.** I told him through our mind link, glancing at the students who have stopped to stare at the show, but too far away to actually understand the conversation, thank god.
“From now on, your life here will be hell. You will be hunted, beaten, and you will be broken, to the point of begging to join the pack, or death.” he growled at me. I stared into his black eyes, glaring at him, not showing weakness. I brought my arm up and punched him square in the gut, causing him to stagger backwards.
