We turn right at the stop sign headed towards town. I turn the radio on and Back to Sleep by Chris Brown is on. We listen to the music in silence until we reach town. We turn left at the red light and head straight and then it hit me, I figured out where we were going even though we haven't gotten there yet. Go karts! Best first date ever. We pull in the parking lot, Logan parks in the frist spot we see.
We get out of the car and head straight to the go karts entrance. We pay, get our tickets, then stand in line until our turn. "So are you surprised?" Logan questions.
"Absolutely, I haven't been here in awhile," I say.
"Well I'm glad," Logan says. We watch as the people in the carts race until the light turns red and their turn is over.
The line gets shorter and shorter and we get to the front only to be told we will be on the next round. I look up at Logan in disappointment, he just says "it will be okay, we are going to be next and there's only three four people that are going to be with us on the track unlike this round that has like 15 to 20 people."
"That's very true," I say in excitement.
We continue to make small chat until its our turn to do. We get in the cart with two seats and buckle up. We wait until the lot turns green to go and when it does we are off. I'm glad Logan decided it would be good for him to drive because if not we would be screwed.
The ride comes to an end and we head to Logans car. We both get in the car and head out of the parking lot only to go in Applebees is parking lot. Logan parks and we head inside. We take our seats at a booth and the waitress takes what we want to drink, and heads to get them. "Did you have fun?" Logan asks.
"Very much so plus I got to spend it with someone like you." I respond back.
"I'm glad you had a good time," he says. The waitress comes back with our drinks and takes our orders.
We get our food 10 minutes later. I look in front of me and see mild boneless wings. Yumm. We eat and chat for a little longer until we are both finished eating. Logan pays for the food and we leave on the way home we chat about when we were younger and before I know it I'm sitting in my driveway. "I'm glad you had a great time tonight." Logan says.
"Yeah me too its nice to be out of the house for once," I respond back.
We say our goodbye's and exchange hugs and he leaves. I walk in the house and in my room and flop my bed. Before I know it I fall into a deep slumper.
