"Hey Jess" Tristan shouted from down the hall where, he was standing with the gang.
"Hey Tris" I shouted back and walked towards them; as we all had the same class together today again.
As we entered the class, I sat down next to Lucy. She started to talk about how she has been the new kid here a few years ago. She's so nice and she's just so pretty too; my guess was that she was popular ever since day one. Lucy says James and herself used to date but, it didn't work out. They would have been a cute couple if everything worked out, they are still really cute with their friendship.
Connor and Tristan are sitting in front of us and Kayla was sitting next to Tristan in front also. They had a hard time not bursting into laughter. Tristan had hit Connor's arm, as he pretended to cry then, he turned around to us as we comfort him, as James just shakes his head. Kayla and Lucy laugh also but, I'd tried to keep back my laughter as shake my head but, it didn't work as I started to laugh as well.
While the class was coming to an end the teacher had assigned a project and we all decided to work as one big group in order to maximize time and get the project finished early and make it look really good with everyone's idea.
My next class was music. Sucky right? Or is that just me? I walked towards the door, after gathering my thing with James and walked out with him as he had the same class. I was happy, at least I would know someone in there and it wouldn't be totally weird. As I walked into the music classroom, James walked over to his usually seating area as I smiled as was about to walk over to where he sat before, I sensed a familiar scent, and then felt a warm hand on my lower back.
"Hey Jessica"
I felt Brad's hot breath in my ear, it's so hard to breathe when he's around, when he's so close. I turned around to see that we were only inches apart, as our faces were almost touching. I catch myself staring into her perfectly brown eyes for maybe a little too long.
"Would you like to sit together?" he asked softly, as I could feel his breath against my skin.
"Su...sure" I stumble a little, not even realizing I turned James down at the same time.
My heart was beating a little fasteer than normal, as he puts his hand back on my back, guiding me. I turned slightly to see James's faces go from happy to disappointed, as he had a look like he wanted to kill Brad. I gave him a quick smile, to let him know everything would be okay. I mean no one wants to tell me why they are so mad at him besides Tristan and it seems like I would only believe him if I want to know the whole story.
I then quickly turned back to Brad to notice he was looking James's way, giving him a quirky smile. He didn't remove his hand until we reached the seats, he then pulled me even closer and puts his arm around my waist, despite everyone that was starting to stare.
Brad quickly found us two seats in the front middle of the class, and everyone was staring, including a group of guys, who I assumed to be his friends, even the teacher was staring at us. I even started to feel a little weird but, knowing I couldn't pull away sucked even more. I quickly looked into his eyes and gulped. I felt like they were watching Brad's every movement, I glanced around quickly before leaning into Brad's ear.
"Why are they all staring?" I whisper to him.
"Cause you're new" He whisper back, without looking me in the eyes.
That may be true, and probably because I'm sitting next to him. He smiled at me again before, focusing on the lesson as it started.
Throughout the lesson, I have to admit I felt weird. It wasn't just being the new girl in class weird, it was the type of weird that made you feel sick. It was more of a guilty feeling. I just wished I had said no to Brad and sat with James. Maybe if I had sat with him, I wouldn't have people staring at me and Brad.
