Chapter 34- Justice

~Leo's pov~

"I'm sorry, what? I don't think I heard you right." He upright and looks at me confused "You want to kill Shredder?"

"I don't want to. I'm going to."

Vincent walks to us, he seems hurt and angry.

"If you try you'll get killed."

"Then let him kill me." I stand and grab any gear I can find. "He's taken too much. He's killed us all. I'm going. Now."

"No, Leo wait what are you doing?" Raph gets up, and stands in my way. I push some gear into his arms and stare him dead in the eye. "Wait ten minutes and I'll go with you."

I'm surprised, I thought he would try to stop me, but the rage and sorrow and pain in his eyes explain everything. He's just as eager as I am.

"NO! Did you not see what he did to everyone else you care about!? Did you-!?"

"Why do you think we're doing this!? Everyone we loved is gone besides you and Hitomi and you won't even call us your parents! We are going to be forgotten, no one but them knew about us now there's only you two and he isn't paying for any of it!" I start balling through the yells, every emotion, every thought I had spilling out with no end. Until he stops me.

"Fine. Then go. Waste your lives too. Hitomi will be heart broken. You never cared for me. So what's the point in making you stay? You want to go die? You want to be forgotten? Fine. Go." he turns his back to us and leaves. Everything falling apart, everything I cared about walking away with him. Everything but Raph.

"He doesn't mean it Leo... Come on. Let's go kill Shredder..." Raph sounds just as broken as I am. He leaves, so I leave with him. Going through the door seems to replenish my rage, and with that, we leave. We will end Shredder. We will get justice.
