it's my eighteenth birthday, it's my eighteenth birthday! the brunette cheered loudly in his head, he was skipping happily throughout the hallways, until he was suddenly pulled to a jolt.
"oikawa-san," a voice called out.
the brunette looked down to see a girl with short brown hair, with blonde highlights. "yes, sweetheart?"
"um, uh, i-i can s-see my whole n-name on your wr-wrist." oikawa's eyes widened, until he remembered what kunimi said earlier.
"make sure to check the girl's wrist, to see if they're not lying."
oikawa checked the girl's wrist, both, may i add, until the girl hid her wrist.
oh so what kunimi said was true, many liars are studying here in this school, what a shame.
saying the brunette was shocked, would be an understatement.
"i'm sorry, but i regret calling you sweetheart, i don't see my name on your wrist, sweethearts don't lie."
as the girl was about to run and burst into tears, here's what he said,
"look, i know i'm not your soulmate, but i think that whoever your soulmate will be, you two are gonna be perfect for each other, he'll make you happier than i did. he'll make you smile more than i ever did. so, don't be devastated, i'm just really not the right person for you."
the girl smiled, saying goodbye to the brunette. and as if on cue, the bell rang.i wonder when will i meet my soulmate.
the brunette just shrugged and skipped happily to his classroom.
