the brunette was confused after the encounter earlier. he didn't even know what made him say the name.
who was iwa-chan to him anyway?
or rather, what made him say iwa-chan to the stranger?
"oikawa-kun!" kindaichi's voice made him stop thinking. he looked back and made a questioning face.
"yes?"
"uh, we're supposed to walk home together right?" kunimi said in a monotone voice.
"oh, uh, yeah."
oikawa trailed behind the, keeping silent. they both knew something was off with oikawa, yet no one bothered to ask. he wouldn't be this quiet. suddenly, both kunimi and kindaichi's thoughts were disrupted by oikawa.
"hey do you guys know a guy named iwaizumi?"
kindaichi and kunimi's eyes widened at the mention of the name, oh those high school days. but, one thing bothered them,
why doesn't he remember him?
"oikawa-kun, do you remember iwaizumi? you know from our high school last year? you two were so close to each other back then! plus you always call him iwa-chan, it's so funny!" kindaichi said, his eyes sparkling in excitement, as he remembered those days.
"huh? i don't remember any iwaizumi, all i remember is playing volleyball with you guys and the others. i don't remember any iwaizumi at our team, more importantly any 'iwa-chan'."
"but you two-"
"let's leave it at that, alright kindaichi?" kunimi butted in.
the turnip head couldn't help but sigh, "okay fine."
