Mackenzie POV:
She said yes. Of course she said yes. I don't know why I ever thought she might be reject me but part of me was worried she would. But she didn't. She said yes and today was the day. The day my girlfriend become my wife. The day we became two as one. The day she become Mrs. Arianne Celeste Bourg. My nerves were a wreck as I waited impatiently for the clock to strike 2:00 and to see my beautiful bride walk down the isle. The small California chapel was filled with our family and friends. The pews were decorated with silver and gold flowers and decorations, our combined favorite colors. We opted out of traditional wedding etiquette and Arianne didn't want to walk down the isle to the traditional wedding march. She had always loved the song "Never Stop" by SafetySuit and that's what she wanted to play while she made her way to me, her groom. The clock struck twice and the hallway doors opened. She looked as beautiful as the day we met, maybe even more so now. Her dress was simple yet stunning, only a few perfectly placed sequins on her otherwise entirely white gown. She looked like something out of a wedding magazine, except she wasn't edited or airbrushed like those girls were. She was perfect all on her own. "This is my love song to you..." The tape began to play over the loudspeaker and she made her way down the isle. Her father had passed away suddenly when she was three so her older brother, Andre, walked her down the isle in his place. She finally reached me and stopped. "Who gives this woman away?" The pastor asked. "Her mother and I do", Andre said, as he kissed her on the forehead and made his way back in formation with the other groomsmen. Of course I had picked Trent as my best man, but the other groomsmen I had chosen were Dalton and Lee Jean, who were both on my season of American Idol and the 4 of us had become really close. Of course I had to have Andre as a groomsman as well, after all, he was gracious enough to let me marry his baby sister. I didn't know how to repay him for giving me such an amazing gift but I figured this was a start. Ari had chosen her friend Betsy as her matron of honor, I say matron because Betsy had married some man she met at work a few years back. Ari had chosen her bridesmaids as Taylor and Avalon and we had asked Avalon if it was okay if Adam Jr. and Marielle were our ring bearer and flower girl. Of course it was okay, Avalon was more than happy to let her children be apart of our special day. I wanted Adam there as well but he was out of state for work. We exchanged vows and before I knew it the pastor had said "I now present to you, Mr. And Mrs. Mackenzie Richard Bourg. You may now kiss the bride". And kiss her I did.
