Paris. The city of Love. I couldn't think of a more perfect place to spend my honeymoon with the man I loved. Mackenzie had booked our suite at the Hotel Plaza Athenee, because he knew I had loved it ever since I saw it on that one episode of Sex and the City. The bellhop took our bags and led us to our room. The view was breathtaking. Right across the street was the infamous Eiffel Tower and the way it lit up Paris at night was absolutely stunning. There were chocolate kisses on the pillow and a note in French, which Mackenzie told me roughly translated to the staff welcoming our stay and congratulating us on the marriage. I'm glad one of us paid attention to our French classes in high school. Mackenzie took me to every site he could think of, the Louvre, Madame Tussad's House of Wax, the Notre Dame Cathedral and of course the Eiffel Tower. Before I knew it, a week had passed by and we were packing our bags to head home. I would miss Paris but I missed our sweet Southern California home just a little bit more.
