Flashback




We cuddled the rest of the movie until we ears a knock on the door.

"Who's that?" Calum asked. "I don't know. Did you invite the boys over?" I asked. "No. Are you expecting anyone over?" He asked and I shook my head.

We heard knocking again so we stood up from our comfy position and slowly went to the door. It was like in a scene in a horror movie when someone unexpectedly knocks on the door but they weren't expecting company and the person ends up being a serial killer or murdered. Lets hope it's not like that right now.



We did 3 rounds of rock, paper, scissors to see who will open the door and I won. Goodluck Calum.


He slowly turned the knob and the door opened. We had shocked looks on our faces.




"Hi."



Flashback Over





"What are you doing here." Calum asked. "Just going to check on the baby." He said. "I won't let you." Calum said blocking the door.

I rolled my eyes and pushed Calum away. "Sure you can." I said stepping back so he can come in. "Thank you." He said.


"You have a lovely home." He said looking around from the ceiling to the floor to back at us.

I looked at Calum and he had a straight face shooting daggers to him.


"So can I see her?" He asked. "No." "Sure." Me and Calum said at the same time. I glared at Calum and looked back. "Yes you can, follow me." I said trying to escape out of Calum's right grip around my waist as if I was going to leave him forever.

I removed Calum's hands from my waist and walked near him and grabbed his hand. "Come on." I said and pulled him up the stairs with a grumpy Calum hot on our tail.


"This is her room." I told him as I turned the knob and pushed the door open. "This is very nice. Who designed it?" He asked looking around, eyes stopping at June.

"I did." Calum said butting in, in a firm voice. "You did really well, I love the color and the whole layout." He said.


Calum's face softened when he realized he just complimented him and mumbled a soft "Thank you." While looking at the ground.


He slowly approached a sleeping June and observed her face as quiet snores came out of her mouth.

"Uhh c-can I hold her?" He asked fidgeting a bit. "Sure, just be careful because she's just 4 days old." I said. Calum was about to disagree but I gave him a look that said 'no' so he just stood there with clenched fists trying to hold back.


I don't know why he came here. He should've just called to say that he was coming, not all of a sudden just knock on our door and expect us to just welcome him but we did do that. Shit what did I do, he won't hurt her would he? Why is he here anyway?


"Why are you here?" I asked.




He just laughed and said "Why? Can't I see my granddaughter when I want?"
