*Emmie's POV*
I looked at my mum and dad. I was sitting on one side of the black table and they were sitting on the other side. "Well? What was so important that I had to leave Katie's for?" They looked at each other then back at me.
"We're getting divorced." I knew this was coming because they would fight all the time. I just don't know what's going to happen with me.
"So what's going to happen with me? Who am I going to live with? Where are we going to live?" Please don't let them say dad. Please don't let them say dad.
"You're going to live with your dad." Well shit. I'm screwed now. He's going to be getting drunk and when he's drunk, he's mean. He would abuse me and mum, so I don't understand why mum would let him take me with him to some place I possibly don't even know. Dad reached out and grabbed my hand and said "We're going to move to Sydney Australia. It's where you're from and where my mum lives." I glare at him and yank my hand away and jump up yelling "You're taking me away from my only friend! ONLY FRIEND! You know how long I went without a friend! Now you're moving me halfway across the world away from her? You know what you are? You are two things, a dick and a dick. A big fat dick!" I run up to my room and slam the door shut. Katie might not be the kind of friend I would ask for, but she was still my friend.

*1 hour before flight to Australia*
I picked up my backpack and slung it over my shoulder. I looked around my now empty room and sighed. This was the place where I would take refuge when my mum and dad would fight. I picked up my duffle bag and walked out of my room before I shut the door drying me and walked downstairs.
I looked at my mum and saw her "crying". She ran up to me and hugged me tightly and said "I'm gonna miss you baby girl." I rolled my eyes and patted her back then pushed her off and mumbled "Yeah right." She sighs and says "I love you." I just rolled my eyes and walked outside and got in dad's car and got out my phone and put in my headphones and started listening to Hasley. Dad going in the car and drove to the airport in silence. This is going to be one fucking long trip to Australia.
