"I'm sorry. I just can't. Give me a minute."
Ethan got up and walked away from his computer, shutting the door behind him. From the opposite side of the call, the other Sidemen heard the door shut, and sighed.
"He'll be back." Josh sighed, listening to the silence on Ethan's end.
Half an hour passed. Then an hour. An hour later and still no sound of noise from Ethan's end.
"Guys he's actually not there."
"Should we go to his house?"
"Yep."
Josh, Vik and Simon all took off their headsets and opened the door to their rooms, meeting out in the landing.
"What do you think he's done?" Vik asked, watching as Josh rushed down the stairs, and Simon was stood at the bottom panicking.
"I dunno, but it can't be good." Simon whispered. He could feel his heart beating. None of the others knew it, but Simon had a strong caring feeling about Ethan. Besides the guy being his best friend, Simon felt the need to care for him, and be there when he was upset.
"Well come on then!" Josh spat, and the three darted out the house and into his car. "Hurry up!"
Vik fumbled around with the keys, quickly locking the door and jumping into the car's back seat. Josh, slightly in a panic, reversed as quick as he could before roaring down the roads towards Ethan's house.

"There. Right there."
Simon pointed at Ethan's house, which looked cosy from the outside. Josh made a messy parking, but they couldn't care less. Their friend was having some sort of mental break down, and they needed to help.
They ran over, and knocked on the door, but there was no answer.
"Where's Ethan's mum?" Simon asked, looking around the front garden. There was no sign of anything unusual, and her car was still parked outside.
"I dunno." Josh watched Simon's mouth quiver. "Didn't he give you keys?"
Simon nodded, and searched his pockets, eventually finding the key to Ethan's house. He unlocked the door, and opened it, and they all stepped inside.
They heard screams, and crying, and yelling. Simon felt a tear well in his eye.
"Mrs Payne..."
The three madly dashed up the stairs, and spotted the bathroom door open, with sobbing coming from inside.
"Mrs Payne...?" Josh whispered, slowing down his steps. Her head poked from around the bathroom door, her face dripping with tears.
"B-boys..."
She began to cry again, and Simon slowly moved forwards, poking his head around the bathroom door.
And Simon's throat went dry.
"E-Ethan...?"
The tears began to swell, and the others gathered.
Vik and Josh knelt down next to Mrs Payne, who was sat at her son's body, and the three shared a teary hug.
Simon had never seen anything like it.
Why. That's all he wanted to know.
He touched Ethan's body, and a tear dripped onto Ethan's arm.
"N-no... Ethan..."
Simon began to shake, his lips quivering and his fingers twitching.
"E-Ethan say something if you're ok!"
There was no sound.
"Boo..."
Simon placed a hand in Ethan's thick crimson blood, in which was located next to his wrist. A deep cut was across Ethan's right wrist, and there was several other fatal cuts up his arm.
"Ethan why..."
Simon squeezed his eyes shut, and let the tears drip.
"Ethan why didn't you tell me? You could have told me, I would have helped you..."
Josh, Vik and Mrs Payne watched Simon.
"A-and Ethan... I-It wasn't worth it... I-I..."
Simon's eyes ached from the tears. Seeing Ethan.... Was heart breaking.
"I loved you."
Simon got up, took one last look, at Ethan, then ran off to Ethan's room to observe and cry a little more.
Ethan's body just lay still, cuts deep, razor red, floor dyed.
"Suicide wasn't the way out of this..."
Except for Ethan, it was.
