Chapter 3

Lucy's PoV
I started walking home until I was interrupted
"Oi Lucy! Hold up!" I heard John shout to me
I carried on walking and he ran and caught up with me
"What do you want Lennon?"
"The names John, love." He replied
"Well what do you want"
"I walk this way so I thought I'd walk with ya, wouldn't want you getting intimidated with me walking behind me" he snickered
"Oh I'm so scared" I said sarcastically
He just laughed and pulled a cigarette out of his pack before lighting it and puffing the smoke into my face.
"Want one" he offered me as a joke
I took one out of the pack, he looked shocked and handed me the lighter. I lit it up and started smoking it while puffing the smoke into his face like he did to me. John looked surprised as I didn't cough my lungs up.
"You've smoked before?" He asked
I nodded
"Who would of thought it, goody two shoes Miss Diamond bloody smokes"
I laughed, which caused me to cough a little.
"When you lot going on that road trip then?" I asked seriously
"On Wednesday" he replied
2 days... 2 fucking days, are you serious.
"Gonna miss little Georgie eh?" He asked
I nodded "he's my best mate, course I am"
"I guess, if you wanted, you could come with us" he said as if he felt sorry for me
"Who would of thought teddy boy Lennon is being a softie" I laughed
"Shut it Lucy, it'd probably be nice having a girl round" he winked
I pushed him a bit "funny" I said, rolling my eyes.
He laughed "well then you up for it?"
John seriously was offering me to come on a road trip with the lads
"Thought you hated me" I asked
"Well, I'll probably regret asking you as soon as we get on the road but y'know. George has been pestering me to invite you" he said, taking a drag of his cigarette
Aw George wanted me to come with them, well I guess it's nice of John to actually go with it.
"You sure your gonna be able to cope with me, Lennon?" I asked
"I guess I'll have to" he laughed
"Well then, I accept your offer" I said sticking my hand out
He shook my hand and laughed
"Surprising that we haven't argued while walking back" I said as we reached my house
"Did you forget that I can be nice" he laughed
"I'll see you round Lennon" I said as I walked into my house, and he carried on walking home
I shut the door and went to my room, getting changed because I was probably gonna go meet George.

George had rang me earlier asking if I wanted to meet him and the boys at the park, I kindly accepted and was now on my way to meet them.
I arrived at the park and saw them messing around like children
"Lucy!!" I heard George shout
I ran up to him and hugged him "George I'm coming on the road trip!" I practically screamed
