Taking care of him

{DAISY'S POV}

I gave him a kiss in his forehead as he drifted back to sleep.
The nurse came in and looked at me.
"Are you his girlfriend?" She asked writing some notes.
"Y-yes I am" I looked at her holding Oscar's hand.
"You'll like to stay with him tonight?" She asked.
"Yes I'd like to" I said wiping out a tears running down my cheek.
The nurse came close and hugged me,
"It's ok darling, it's ok he will be alright don't worry, you can stay here, until he is allowed to go" she said smiling.
"Thank you, thank you very much" I said as I went to sit beside his bed and held his hand.
"I'll ask for someone to bring you here a bed and some blankets and a pillow" she said smiling about to leave the room.
"Yeah thanks, I'll stay here with him" I smile as I looked back at him.
"Take care" she said leaving the room and closing the door.
I looked at him and caressed his cheek.
"Oscar how you feeling?" I asked hoping for an answer, and I got it.
He placed his hand over mine.
"I'm feeling alright sweetheart, now that you are here" he said forcing a smile.
"I never left" I said smiling and kissing his cheek.
He groaned from the pain and I was getting worried.
"Do you think I should call a doctor?" I asked looking at him concerned.
"No no I'm ok...but I'm a bit hungry could you get some strawberries?" He asked me giving me puppy eyes.
"Oh please don't give me those eyes" I giggled a bit as I stood up.
"But yeah I'll bring you strawberries" I smiled and left the room.

After a few minutes I came to the room with a bowl of strawberries, and for my surprise I found him asleep and I laughed a bit I sat down.
"Oscar I brought you strawberries" I said whispering to his ear.
He just smiled bit didn't opened his eyes, I knew he wanted to rest so I left the bowl in the table and fell asleep in the chair holding his hand.
