"Janet, you aight?" Tyrone asks as he and Trisha approach Janet in the lobby.

Janet makes a crooked smile as she looks down at her phone. "Yeah..."

"No you're not," Trisha sits down next to her and rubs her back. "What happened?"

"You can tell us," Tyrone sits on Janet's other side.

Janet sighs. "I think my boyfriend's cheating on me..."

Trisha raises an eyebrow. "Boyfriend? Girl you didn't tell me you had a boyfriend."

Janet chuckles. "Yea. Usually ion tell ya'll shit. I wanted you to meet him in person..."

"What's his name?"

"Nash."

"He white...?" Tyrone asks.

"Yea nigga. You gotta problem?"

Tyrone throws his hands up. "Naw. Its just most of the guys you date are big black dudes." He laughs.

Trisha laughs with him. "True that brother!"

Janet rolls her eyes. "Yea whateva." She stands up and walks to the entrance.

"Ay! Where you goin? We hurt yo feelings?" Tyrone teases.

"Nigga shut up. Imma just take a walk."

"Ooh I'm coming wichu. I'm hungry anyway," he stands up and looks down at Trisha. "You coming?"

"No...I'll just stay and watch tv in my room."

"Want us to bring you lunch?"

Trisha shakes her head. "No thanks."

Tyrone frowns. Trisha had been eating a whole lot less since they found her, he hated how depressed she was, and he was too. He just hated how she starved herself. "Well too bad. I'm bringing you lunch anyway." He leans down and kisses her on the lips, its short, but sweet.

Trisha brushes his cheek as they kiss, just enjoying their moment. It had been a while since they had made any romantic contact, and she only noticed then.

She felt so guilty. She rarely let him touch her like she used to, and she wished she still did, but it just wasn't possible.

"Ay! Get a room!"

Trisha and Tyrone pull away immediately because of Janet's voice, remembering that they're in public. People around give them odd looks as Janet chuckles.

"Leave that shit in the bedroom, aight?!" Janet continues to laugh as a light blush comes to Trisha's cheeks. "Ain't nobody wanna see that!"

"Man go fuck yo white boy," Tyrone says as comeback making Trisha giggle.

Janet stops laughing immediately. "Nigga shut up! Let's just go! Nx! Killin my vibe..." Janet storms out.

"See you later." Tyrone kisses Trisha on the cheek before jogging out and after Janet.

Trisha sighs as she stands up and walks to the elevator.

Trisha makes her first stop to the bathroom after entering her room. She stands in front of the mirror and observes the young woman staring back at her. In her head she starts comparing her physical appearance to her parents'. She had her mother's hair, except that it was not as poofy, her mother's plump lips and her father's brown eyes, not to mention his brown skin tone.

She thinks that she had definitely improved from the last time she saw her reflection. Last time she just looked dead, sure she still looked down, but not like a drug addict.
