Christiano grins as he watches Janet pick up an AK47 from their stash. The jet had landed, the mafia gang offered to let them rest properly. They had owned a club, they were the mafia after all. Janet and Christiano were alone in the secret weapon room at the back of the club whilst the others were in the lounge. Janet holds the gun up and aims it around, looking lost, but cute.

"You know how to use that, no?"

"Uh. My pop taught me..."

"He uses fire arms?"

"Er, sure. When he's with my two crazy uncles," Janet makes a crooked smile. "He's been ridin' with them since he was eight. Sometimes we go visit them in Woodcrest...and always end up somehow getting into trouble."

"Is he a criminal?"

Janet puts the gun down and looks at him in the eye. "You seem to be really into my family."

Christiano crosses his arms over his chest, a small smirk on his face. "I'm always on the lookout for new recruits."

"No way..." Janet says. "My dad's a family man now...well, when he wants to be."

"Maybe not him..." Christiano tilts his head. "...but what about you?"

"Huh?"

"How would you like to join the mafia, bella," Christiano says. "We are always open."

Janet stands straight. "Are you asking me to be one of yo girls?"

"No," he says quickly. "No no no. I am asking you to be an associate. Maybe even my parter." He half grins.

Janet laughs dryly as she turns around and looks through the other weapons. "You haven't even seen me use a gun yet, and aside from that, been in the mafia is a death wish, Christiano." She picks up a pistol and checks if its on safety.

For a short moment there's a silence, then she hears Christiano's footsteps behind her. "Ah. So you do know my full name. Heh. I was beginning to think you didn't..."

"What're you--"

Janet turns around and finds herself been forced against the steel table by Christiano himself. She feels herself swallow. "You will not even consider it?" he asks slowly as he pushes a few line of curls behind her ear.

"No." Janet places her hands on his chest as an attempt to push him back, but he doesn't move an inch.

"You are very beautiful, Janet," he says, snaking his arms around her.

Janet fails to prevent the blush that comes to her cheeks.

"I hate knowing that after this, I might never see you again..." he says.

Janet's hand, without her thinking, automatically moves to his cheek. Her thumb traces his lower lip. "Me too..." This man was handsome, but he was dangerous. That was Janet's problem, and she knew it. She was practically a magnet for trouble.

I like bad boys. She thinks.

"Then I fit your match," Christiano says.

She hadn't realised that she spoke out loud.

He leans in, almost closing his eyes.

Janet stops herself from doing the same and turns her head.

He leans back, looking confused, surprised that she didn't fall for his charm.

"I already got a man," she says, turning her face back at him. She had inherited a lot from her father, and one of them was his loyalty.

Christiano frowns, beginning to say something, but Janet's phone rings, interrupting the both of them. The phone is on the table, vibrating as it rings. The two just stare at it, still in the same position.
