My Mate Crashed My Wedding

~Where Am I....?~

I open my eyes and see small lights and gold paint.

..........Wait....

My room does not look like this. Where the hell am I? I looked all around me, trying to remember where I was and how I got here.

Annalise, could you be any stupid? We are at our mates pack house!!!

My wolf yelled hopelessly. I rubbed my head from the severe headache I just got just a few minutes ago. Gosh, I knew that scent was too hard to believe. I feel like I scrubbed that undenying sweet smell into my body, just by laying on I'm guessing 'my mates' bed.

I quickly shook my head getting back to normal.

Ugh,....I need to stop....

I need to get out of here quick.

James is probably waiting for me. Why did this had to happen right on my damn wedding day. This is the day every girl has been waiting for her whole life. And now "the day I've been waiting for my whole life" is crashed down into little pieces because of my mate?...

Why Moon Goddess,.... why??!!

I walked around the stunning room trying to find a way to escape. Then I heard the door open and

BAM!!

I slipped on the TV remote and landed right on my face. I groaned from the head ache that soon took over my head. I looked up seeing the most handsomest man I've ever seen in my life. My wolf jumped and even did the splits being well aware of the fact that this beautiful angel is nothing but my....mate.

He bent down lending his hand towards me. I saw him crack a laugh but then stop the second I declined his request and rolled my eyes and stood myself up. When I got up I crossed my arms with one eyebrow up, trying to act as neutral as I can to his hypnotizing smell.

His smile never left his face though. When he got up to my level, well his 6ft 5in level(me being way shorter), he crossed his arms the same way but stood their staring at me with sweet eyes. I wanted to look as angry as I was just a few minutes ago but I totally messed up when a laugh cracked in my throat. I try to play it as a cough and remember how long I've waited for him.

He looks soo happy to see me and looks just like those other 16 year olds when they find their mate. But the thing is, I'm done.. I've been done. I've been done a long time ago. And now that I'm getting married to the man that made me smile for the first time in my teenage years , I don't need my mate anymore....It's too late....my heart already broke too many times. Right from there my happy expression turned into pure anger.

I used as much force as I can and pushed him against the wall. I have my arm across his neck(btw I'm on my tippy toes..) He then lowered his head and kissed me. I was shocked from the sudden action and right when I was going to fall for it I stepped back.

"I can't Xavier.....I can't. Do you know how long I've waited for you-"

"But I'm here now. Ain't I? Now we could be together-" I stopped him

"NO WE CAN'T!!!...... I'm getting married Xavier. I love him. I love Jam-"

"DON'T EVER SAY THAT NAME IN FRONT OF ME EVER AGAIN!!"

I looked at the love seat next to Xavier furrowing my eyebrows. I saw Xavier moving closer to me in a loving and caring way but the tears I held inside for 8 years started to grow back. When that one tear drop fell I turned as fast as I can and sped out the room running in any direction not caring if I get lost.

All those years of being lonely and having no friends started to remind me that I still got James. He saved me from that horrible storm. I thought I was going to die lonely with nobody by my side and now that I'm getting married to my savior I don't need my irresponsible mate to come crawling in and ruining the best day of my life period!

When I finally made it to a door leading outside, I rubbed off the tears that dropped and their marks on my cheeks. I grabbed the bottom of my wedding dress and started to run.
