The second I step foot into the woods the calls of danger kept repeating in my brain.
The freezing wind passed my face making it hurt.
Goosebumps crawled itself on my arms.
Shivers ran through my like a vibrating chair.
A tear spilled really slowly on my cheek from the horrible scenes of James with a worried face and my mate Xavier killing himself, because of me.
My wolf exclaimed,
Turn back around, Annelise!! Go!! Xavier is going to find out soon, I can feel it! Go!!!
I said,
I can't . James. What about him? Huh?
At that moment I didn't care what my wolf was going to say next and I started to sprint.
I cringe my face from the pain of the sticks and spikes on the ground probably making permanent marks. I look in all directions trying to find where to run to. Every instinct in my body telling me to stop and turn around but I want James.
I'm sorry moon goddess but I can't marry Xavier.
He might be my mate but he sure as hell don't know what I've been through, even what James and I been through together. This might be the hardest choice I had to take in my life but at this moment I am sure of it.
Sure of my choice.
Not caring for the future.
So I ran and ran. Ran until my knees can't hold me anymore. I then dropped on the floor soo exhausted and breathing heavily. I looked up at the sky and the sunlight was giving off a yellowish orange color almost making me blind.
I then slid to a nearby oak tree that covered most of the beautiful but unbearable sunlight. My stomach started to growl. I forgot to eat today. I even skipped breakfast because I was so nervous for the wedding. Visions of a worried James and a heartbroken Xavier flashed through my mind. I close my eyes trying to get away from the horid stomach ache I'm having right now.
But suddenly the wind started to increase in speed sending my hair in all directions possible.I instinctively stood up. I started to rip the bottom of my dress knowing that this must not be a good sign and I must run for a long ass time.
I looked around as howls were heard from all over. I looked up at the sky realizing that now that beautiful shiny sky is now pitch black. I didn't even get the opportunity to take my first step as I was snatched once again.
Sorry my dear readers that I took soooo long to update and that this chapter was short but I WILL update the next chapter more faster than expected. I can guaranteed that!
