Let's just say, LAX is absolutely AMAZING.
No, lets rephrase that. L.A. is AMAZING.
The minute I stepped off that plane, I felt like a new person. It was like a huge weight was lifted off of my shoulders and in that moment, I was ready for my life in this unknown city.
I look around the packed airport, and I see the bright, bouncy red curls of Aria. Her hair isn't red, it's RED. (Picture to the side) Aria has this thing for dying her hair. She told me that it would be red so that I could find her. I run, pushing through the crowd of people looking at departure times, and run right up behind her. I give her a huge hug from behind and she gives off this little squeal.
"CARA ALEXANDRIA REGINS. YOU SCARED THE EVER LOVING SHIT OUT OF ME."
"Sorry Ari. I'm just so excited to see you again! I've missed you so much!"
"Yeah, yeah Regins. Let's go. I gotta show you to your new home for a while. At least until you get everything situated and can get a super cute house. OMG we could live together. Like we could have a huge house and we could have butlers and maids and a chauffeur and oh my gosh this is going to be utterly amazing!"
"Got any breath left there girly? I was afraid you'd fall over and I'd have to drag your red headed body out of here. I would really hate to get arrested for possessing a so called dead body before I even get outside."
"Yeah, sure, OK. Fine. Come on, we have a lot to do."
~~~~~*~~~~~
Oh my gosh.
Those are the only words I can use to explain how gorgeous my apartment is. I'm living in a loft in downtown, only 15 minutes from Regency Headquarters.
The walls were a deep grey, making them almost look like an intimidating black color. One wall was a distressed brick kind of deal. There was a kitchen to the right of the front door, with sleek white cabinets and a dark silver countertop. Stainless steel appliances were scattered around the kitchen, and a huge island sat in the middle with some barstools. The bedroom was to the left of the kitchen, with sliding barn type doors to separate the spaces. A white couch and purple chair sat in the living room, with a wide flat screen tv. A four post bed and purple couch sat in the bedroom, with purple accents and decor all through the room. Needless to say, it was a breathtaking sight.
"This is it Regins." Aria said as she stood next to me.
"This is gorgeous, I can't thank you enough Ari. Thank you."
Aria arranged this entire loft. She's paying for my first two months of rent. She also got my rent dropped about 300$ a month because of her boyfriend.
Have you seen Dream Catcher? You know, that seriously amazing wonderful movie staring the one and only Jonathan Brinks? Yeah. That's Aria's boyf. Johnathan Brinks. JOHNATHAN. FREAKING. BRINKS. You know he's hot. Admit it.
Yeah, well he talked the building manager into dropping my rent. Of course you can't disagree with Johnathan Brinks. He's everything in the Hollywood world. Everyone listens to him and he is not afraid to get what he wants. I think he's kind of stuck up, but he makes Ari happy, and that's what matters.
"You better get lots of sleep. Tomorrow will be a big day for you young one. You have much to learn." Aria said giving me a hug and skipping out the door.
I walked through the luscious apartment, wondering how I got this far in life at all. Who knows. The word is a weird place with weird plans. I walked into the bathroom, which might I say, is freaking gorgeous. I hopped in the shower, took my makeup off, and got dressed in a pink tank top and black sleep shorts. I unpacked my bags and placed my clothes in the appropriate places, and flopped down on the extremely comfy bed.
Well, I guess it's time to start this new life. Let's see how this goes.
