The scenery outside the school was a bush maze, that had a stone path. The path lead to a white fountain in the middle of it, that was surrounded by daisies, daffodils, violets, tiger lilies and tulips. On the top of the fountain was an angel, or more specifically cupid, that had water shooting out of its mouth. In the fountain were coy fish swimming around and sitting on lily pads were baby frogs. Around the fountain near the bushes were statues of greek mythology people, like Hercules, Athena, Perseus, Aphrodite, and Persephone.
"What's up with this place and Greek stuff?" I turn around to see a boy with a bag over his shoulder. He had a black leather jacket on that was tight around his broad shoulders. He looked like he hadn't shaved yet this morning so his morning scruff was still visible.
"Well if you knew where you were you wouldn't be asking that question." I sit on the edge of the fountain and let my fingers run through the water.
"Well I don't, my mom just stopped in front of this place, kicked me out of the car and told me my grandpa's waiting and to have fun." I looked at him and he was looking around the area. "Where am I anyways?"
"Διονύσου Ακαδημία." I spoke in fluent Greek. He raised his eyebrow at me. I smirked. "Dionysus Academy."
"What's that?" He had dropped his bag to the side and put his hand in his pockets.
"It's not a what, it's a who. Dionysus is a Greek God."
"So this school is named after a God. Why?" He put his hands up to symbolise quotations around school.
"Because he's the one who started it." I got up from my spot and walked till I was in front of him. "Want help?" He tilted his head to the side and pursed his lips.
"Why do I think you won't?"
"Well you're a smart one aren't you." I walk past him, I heard movement on the ground and turned my head to see him jogging to catch up with me. "What do you want? It's not like I could help you."
"Can you tell me where the Principal is?" He grabbed my arm to turn me so I could face him. We stood close to each other the only thing separating us was his arm. His cologne was strong but he wore just enough and his breath was minty. I was able to get a better look at his eyes which were a blue color but had a little brown ring around the pupil.
"Why him? Principal sees no one unless called for." I grabbed his hand and unwrapped it from my arm. He sighed, and ran his hand through his hair. "He's your grandpa, isn't he?" He looked at me directly in the eyes, and nodded. I sighed. "Alright, I'll take you to him."
"I thought you said no one sees him, unless called for." He looked at me in confusion.
"If you're a mundane yes. But if you a demigod then no."
"Hold up shortie, what is a demigod."
I put my hands on my hips, "Hyperion can tell you himself." I turned then started walking down the hall.
"You know my grandfather?" He started walking beside me. He really has no idea who he was.
"But of course." I didn't look at him, but I know he was looking at me waiting for me to continue. "Athena is my mother. I am a demigod."
"Athena is..?" He questioned.
"My mother is the Greek virgin goddess of reason, intelligent activity, arts and literature. And my grandfather is Zeus."
"Oh." He then didn't ask anymore questions.
"I'm answering all your questions, yet I don't know your name." He stopped and looked at me. I shrugged.
