It's hard for me to trust,
But everyone says I must.
But when I let people in,
I never win.
They hurt me and break me,
This I do not want to see.
It's hard to trust,
But I know I must.
Or I will never move on,
But I know these memories will never be gone.
They will be stuck in my mind until I die,
They make me want to cry.
Now, they keep coming in and out of my head,
But I know they will fade before I'm dead.
