"...Author-chan...."

Chan is the honourific given to young females. I am not a young female. The fact is that I'm currently twenty, which is older than most of my readers. Personally, I prefer to be addressed by my name- which is Ambrosía. It's not Ambrosia or Amber, it's Ambrosía. Certain people type using a laptop or something that doesn't come with the accent function, so I'm also okay with people just using my initials~ ALNK.

Now, for the chan bit. As stated above, I'm older than most of whom are reading this. Something like senpai would be more appropriate. To any of whom older than me, the proper honourific would be kōhai. I'm also well aware that I'm not exactly the only twenty-year-old user on this site. But here's the thing... I'm not cisgender. I do not identify as female. At least, not all the time. I'm something called bigender, which means that I have two genders. Think of it as having Bipolar Disorder, but for my gender instead of my moods. I'm stargender and female, with stargender being my "default" gender. To those of you that want to give me an honourific, please use koneko as a substitute for anything that is gender biased. Koneko isn't an honourific, it just means "Kitten" when you translate it from Japanese into English.

In other words, please don't call me "Author-Chan."

Call me ALNK-Senpai/Kōhai/Koneko.

Kitty-San is also a perfectly viable option.

And if that's too hard, then please either don't address me or just use my initials.

Thank you for your time and attention!!

Eternally yours,
ALNK
