At school the next week I was my normal quiet self. Erin didn't say one word about Spencer. I was very relieved. During Science I sat in my seat opposite side of the room from the teachers desk because I jut hated her for too many reasons. I thought this would be a normal science class, Spencer would sit in the back of the room with his soccer buddies and talk the whole class. But instead Spencer sat directly behind me. Wow. Could this day get any worse.

I feel a tap on my shoulder. "Hey, can I borrow a pencil?" how classic. He said it with a slight smirk which made him soo hot!!! Well I don't have another pencil. So that's what I will tell him.

"Sorry I don't have another one." I told him and turned around to finish the worksheet. I just have to be my bitchy self when it comes to guys, don't I?

/Spencer's pov/

Science class. great. this day just had I get worse, didn't it. To top it off I had a soccer game after school. Wonderful. I decided to sit in a different spot today. Behind this girl named Lucy I think. I have never talked to her all I know is she is in my science class and she plays soccer. She is really hot I have to say. All the guys in the soccer team talk about her.

Well since I have no chance with Sydney any more, I might as well see if Lucy is interested. I mean who can't be? I'm like perfect in every girls eyes! so I tossed my pencil behind me and tapped on her shoulder "hey, can I borrow a pencil?" I said with a slight smirk. Hoping this would get her attention. "Sorry I don't have another one" wow. I was in complete shock. How could any girl say no to me!! but to tell ya the truth I kinda liked it! I don't like her and if I were to go out with her it probably wouldn't be that big if a deal. I mean she probably hates me any way. Alright I'm confusing my self. Do I like her or not?

/Lucy's pov/

Shit. I have soccer. I have to ride the bus to our game with the boys. Wonderful.

I sit in the middle of the bus. Just had to wait for the other team. The boys team. I put in my ear buds and listened to Roar, Katie Perry's new song.

/Spencer's pov/

I talked the guys about Lucy, they said we would be the schools next best couple. Yeah right. But I have to start to like her first, don't I?

Well the guys insisted that I sit across from her on the bus and try to talk to her. "What the hell do u want me to talk about?!" I asked Ben. Ben is like my best friend. I mean we play soccer together and we are just really close. So I figured I could ask him.

"Dude. You went out with Sydney and many other girls. I'm pretty sure you know what to talk about. You act like you have never gone out with a chick before." Ben said. I guess he had a point there "yeah I guess"

As normal the boys were late getting on the bus. The seat was open across from Lucy. Of course. So I'm still confusing my self. do I like her or not?

Well I gave it my best shot to get to know her.

/Lucy's pov/

Feeling a tap on my shoulder I turn my head to the side to see Spencer. Great. What the fu*k do I do. My heart it spazing! "Yea?" I asked

"Hey I'm Spencer. I don't know if you know me?" he said with a slight smirk, again! why did he have to do that! he looked soo hot!! well giving him a small smile I said "yeah you are in my science class." well what a dead end conversation. Where will this go from here?

"Yeah. I hate Mrs. K. So what team are you playing today?" he asked. "I hate her too! and I have no clue what team." Yeah. as I said before a dead end conversation. Thank god a girl on my team named Anna called my name. She might be a bitch, but I had not other way to get out of this awkward conversation.

The next day at school I am on my way to lunch with Erin as normal. It's just the two of us. We had other people that used to sit with us but ditched us to go sit with Anna in 8th grade. But before I walked into the cafeteria Spencer comes up behind me with one of his friends. "Hey Lucy do u and your friend want to come sit with Mason and I?" Mason is his friend, and Erin's Crush since 7th grade.

"Yeah sure!" I said with a smile nudging Erin's shoulder at the same time.
