Hidden Obsession

Chapter 8

I had no idea how to respond. I mean I have been obsessed with this guy for a LONG time. And now he was asking me out.

"But I thought you and Sydney were-"

I was cut off

"Yeah well we're not"

Obviously something happened between them and I was not about to get in the middle of it. especially being one if Spencer's play toys.

"I'm sorry I'm not going to go out with you spencer"

And with that I walked away and got in my car and drove to school.

On the way to school I I could not even comprehend what just happened. I saw Spencer a few times and he just gave me a dirty look. I chose to ignore him.

The week went by fairly fast. And on Friday I was surprised by Erin at my locker with a mischievous look in her eyes.

"Hey, what's up....up what did do" I asked, finding my self smiling

"I didn't do anything, but there is a party tonight and I was wondering if we could go?" she sorta hesitated with the last part.

"No." I said without talking in any further

"Please!! you need to get out Lucy! you turning into a ghost!!!"

I'm going to regret this.

"Fine."

"YES OMG IM GOING TO COME OVER RIGHT AFTER SCHOOL AND MAKE YOU LOOK AMAZING"

Oh god, this should be fun. I have no clue how she's going make me look 'amazing' but anything is possible.

Erin shows up at my house right after me.

"Hurry up Lucy, you so slow!!!!"

Ugg I'm sorry it took me forever to shower.

I get out and she has her make up sprawled out on my floor and a beautiful short black dress with black pumps next to it.

"Okay sit. " Erin says referring to my desk chair. I do as I'm told and sit in the chair.

After 30 really awkward minutes Erin tells me to put on the dress and shoes. Once again I do as I'm told.

God, she's like my-not going to go there right now

After struggling another 30 minutes with my hair Erin finally lest me look in the mirror

I was in complete and utter shock. I looked like a completely different person. Excuse me a completely different HOT person!

"All I can say is that I honestly thing god specifically sent you to earth to make me look good"

Erin laughed and got herself ready in about 15 minutes except she looks so much better than me.

"Lucy come on we have to go!!!!"

"Alright I'm coming!!!"

We drive about 20 minutes and as soon as Erin turned on to the street I could feel the music in my chest.

"Lucy calm down it will be fine" erin tried to calm me.

"how am I supposed to be calm its my first high school party!?"

"It's gonna be fun, trust me"

"Okay..."

As soon as we walked through the door I was handed a drink that I reluctantly drank in a about 2 minutes.

After about 10 minutes of drinking those I could not control anything I did.

And that's all I remember when I wake up the next morning. Realizing that I have just woken up in a strangers bed

wrapped in someone's arms.
