You look up from your desk where you were currently sitting and the time reads ‘5.50pm’ 10 minutes until you leave work, but most of all 10 minutes until your boyfriend picks you up from work. Calum, yes Calum Thomas Hood from the band 5 Seconds Of Summer or ‘5sos’ for short is your boyfriend. You’ve known each other way back when you were little since your mum used to babysit him, but you’ve only been together for 5 months; only the boys & your mum & dad know about it and of course his family. With all the touring what was going on you both tried to keep it on the low so no-one didn’t know until the tour was over but it was hard keeping it quite. You feel your phone vibrate & it’s Calum texting you;
Calum<3 > You:
Hey baby I’m outside waiting for you with our dinner & a few films tonight, got the house to myself tonight so I thought we could have a few hours alone before they all get back, unless you’ve got any other plans? Love youuuu! <3 x x x

Sounds like a plan babe just on my way out now, can’t wait to see you :) love you too! <3 x x x
You head downstairs to see Calum sitting there with a bunch of your favourite flowers, you say bye to the receptionist before heading off.
Calum: here these are for you
You: Cal, they smell beautiful
Calum: knew you would like them
You: you’re the best boyfriend ever
Calum: don’t be silly
You: it’s true, I love you
Calum: I love you too, let’s get going
You walk out hand in hand just before he gives you a quick kiss on the cheek, Calum opens the car doors you can enter once in the car you turn on the radio and your favourite song comes on you turn it up full blast before Calum starts the journey home.

You’ve both just arrived home to see the table set out for you both with a red candle which is not yet lit, you go upstairs to get out of your work clothes, you get into your boyfriends’ ‘NASA’ t-shirt which smelt of his favourite aftershave, along with a pair of American shorts followed by a oversized black knitted jumper which comes just half way down your thighs. You walk back downstairs to see two plates of food on the table whilst your Calum is in the kitchen pouring wine into two wine glasses.
You: Cal thank you, this is lovely
Cal: your welcome beautiful, got some films sorted out for us after
You: honestly thank you for everything you’ve done, I’m so lucky to have you
Cal: no I’m lucky to have you, thank you for being there when times got though
You finish up eating your dinner, once you have both finished you offered to help with the washing up but he said no, so you went back into the front room with some popcorn, shortly after Calum returned with a bottle of drink, 2 glasses & a selection of films.
Cal: what film do you want to watch first?
You: mean girls, it’s a classic
Cal: okay I’ll put it on then
He puts on the film you snuggled up to him with a blanket over the both of you, after watching Mean Girls, Toy story & Bend It Like Beckham you slow drifted off to sleep in Calum’s arm, shortly followed by Calum also falling asleep.
