Hey guys, I just wanted to say a quick thank you to anyone reading this, it really does mean a lot to me. I work hard on this book and I really hope you guys enjoy it! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE vote, comment I love to see you guys commenting and I haven't got very many!

As Delilah's driver pulled her luggage out of the trunk, she gaped at the house in front of her.

She was going to live here.

The fact was still blowing her mind. But her drooling trance was interrupted by a tall, muscular man with dark brown hair and piercing blue eyes. Blake.

"Delilah nice to finally meet you." He stuck out his hand for her to shake. She took it while thinking to herself that he seemed so much more... cheerful and happy on the phone. Now he seemed cold and stiff. The iciness of his blue eyes complimenting his current behavior perfectly.

"You too. I can't wait to meet your daughter." She replied, still holding his hand but no longer shaking it.

"Sorry." She mumbled nervously when she let go of his hand.

Instead of replying, he grabbed her suitcase and motioned for her to follow him into the house. It was about a quarter of a mile down the driveway walking to get to the front door. He pushed open the matte glass door with curled iron accents into a grand entrance. Oh my god. It took her breath away.

"I show you your room. It's right up the stair, follow me." Blake said with practically no emotion.

Slowly she walked up the grand staircase, taking everything as she walked. The stairs turned slightly to the left as they walked towards the long hallway.

Blake stopped at a door at the end of the hall and turned the know. When they walked in Delilah saw the king bed with a simple white duvet comforter and the black sheets. Everything in the room matched and she had to admit, it looked exquisite. The black dresser, nightstands, black iron bedposts, everything was immaculate. And Delilah loved it.

"Wow, Blake this is too much. It's fantastic." She looked over at him as he set her luggage next to the closet door.

"I'll leave you to unpack." He walked out of the room. That was odd.

Delilah grabbed the door knob to the closet and pulled the door open to see a large walk in closet. She rolled her suit case in and grabbed a handful of hangers so she could hang up what she brought with her.

When she was done, she walked down the hall and down the stairs in hope to find Blake.

She reached the bottom of the stair and heard Blake on the phone in what seemed to be an office. She started to turn around and walk back up the stairs to give him privacy but as she was doing so, she heard him mention her name. Her curiosity got the best of her and she tried to get a better listen.

"She just got here today, I'm not going to scare her with all that now. Not yet. Plus, I'm starting to feel bad. I mean, she's gorgeous. If I didn't bring her here and force her into this life she could've made something of herself. I don't know man... I think I'll tell her in the next couple of day. Yeah. Okay. Bye." Delilah turned around and pretended to just be walking into the room, as if she hadn't heard anything.

"Hey Blake. I unpacked most of my stuff. When's the truck supposed to get here?" He turned around suddenly and her looked at her with sympathetic eyes for a second, and then went back into his usual cold stare.

"Later today. Around five o'clock." He replied blankly.

"Alright, great. Thanks. And by the way, when am I meeting your daughter? I'm really excited to meet her." Delilah questioned him.

"Um, she's at her mother's house for the rest of the week. So Monday." He turned back around to his desk, staring at it.

"Oh, okay." Delilah walked back up to her room and shut the door behind her.

What did I get myself into? She thought as she sat down on the perfect bed.
