( AUTHOR - POV - )
Junhoe leaned in closer, making Yoori cringe.
He finally realised what he was doing, and stopped. "Oh gosh, I'm sorry."
" Weirdo, what was that for?" Yoori frowned, crossing her arms and pouting.
Junhoe literally thought that was extremely cute but held it in. He didn't know what to answer.
"It's uhh, I, erm, there's..," he scratched the back of his head, not knowing what the heck he should be saying.
"There was something on your face!" slightly shouting, he explained.
Yoori, still frowning, replied with an "okay..."
He smiled and laughed nervously, only thinking about escaping that awkward situation.
" Well, is it still there? " she asked, wiping her face here and there, checking if there really is anything.
"Nope, i-it's gone now. It kinda flew away. Heh." Junhoe placed his hands in his pockets while awkwardly looking around. Repeating the sentence 'please let the bell ring now, please let the bell ring now,' in his head.
And tada, the bell finally rang. Yoori focused on the sounds of the bell ringing while looking into Junhoe's eyes. While he, panicked at the sudden glare given, quickly decided to leave.
Tbh Yoori didn't even realise she was staring too deep at Junhoe, but all she was doing is that she was listening closely to the bell for no actual reason.
"Whoops, there goes the bell. Gtg, see you! " Junhoe rushed inside.
Yoori blinked three times and still tried to process what happened earlier. She decided to get over it and left anyway.

" That's all for today. Please complete the essay I've given you, and I want each of you to present it infront of the class tommorow," said the teacher while he packed his things.
The students groaned weakly and one by one, each of them stood up to leave.
Soon, the class was empty.
Junhoe was packing his bags when he suddenly caught Yoori staring at him.
"Urm, nice meeting you today, " he smiled, facing Yoori after putting on his bag on one shoulder.
"Yeah," a simple respond came out of her mouth as she stood up.
"So uh, where are you going after this? "
" Home, of course." she answered, sticking on a 'duh,' face.
"Oh right. Err, you free tommorow evening?" Junhoe popped the question.
"Why, " she asked, looking at his face this time.
"I want to have a drink with you tommorow, can I?" he hoped for a yes.
"Why would you? " she asked again, being curious as ever.
" I want to know you better. " He said, which is totally a lie because he knows every little detail about her.
" But, "
" But? " he tilted his head.
"No one's ever tried to approach me before," she looked down.
Junhoe broke down upon hearing Yoori's words.
"Heyy, don't be like that. I bet tons of people in this school wants to approach you but they're probably just scared, come on now, you should be cheery. You can't hide yourself forever," Junhoe tried to convince her to be atleast be befriendable.
"You don't know anything," she muttered while looking down, but loud enough for him to hear.
"No, I do know-"
"How would you?! Have you been bullied before? Have you been judged by the way you live before? Your looks, have you been judged by that? Basically everything you do, have people ever talked behind you before?! You're simply perfect from everyone's point of view, so you don't deserve to say those things to me if you don't know how I feel! " Yoori stormed off, tears running down her face.
He froze, and regretted about what he had tried to say. "One thing, Junhoe. You had one thing to do. A chance for everything and you ruined it, " he shook his head and sighed, walking out.

( MIN YOORI - POV -)
"Get out!" I heard dad screaming. There were knocks on the door followed by a sound of a woman crying while saying 'please' repeatedly after the door was slammed close.
It eventually stopped after a few minutes. She probably left and gave up.
I walked out of my room to grab a drink. "27 and still counting," I said as I poured water into the plastic cup.
He sighed and walked towards the fridge." Your mother was different. She was one of kind. A God's creation so beautiful, you wouldn't be able to bear it if she left your life, " he took a sip of the soju he took out from the fridge.
"She really was," I sat down, and he did too.
"I'm sorry, " he looked down, holding in his tears.
"What for? You did nothing wrong, dad." I held his hands, assuring that he really did nothing wrong.
"If only I arrived home earlier. If only I didn't have extra paperworks that night. If only I-" he covered his face with his palms, crying silently while slamming the bottle of soju on the table.
"It was her time, dad. This is not your fault, or mine. She left, and we can't argue about that," I stood up and took a seat next to him, patting his back.
"Thank you, for being such a great daughter. Thank you for growing up so well," he looked at me, wiping off the tears running down his face.
"Shouldn't you thank yourself instead of thanking me? I grew up to be who I am today under you and mom's care. I wouldn't be standing here today if the both of you weren't here," I smiled.
He replied with a chuckle and nodded. "Keure, mma. Chal hesso. (That's right, lil one. You did well.)"
I laughed at his response, but stopped when a question popped in my head. "Hey, dad?"
"Yeah? "
" Can I, gain my memory back? "
His eyes opened wide, shocked at my question.
