( KOO JUNHOE - POV- )

(3 days later)

I rested my body on the soft mattress and let out a long sigh that I've been holding since a few hours ago. The flashbacks of Mr. Jihoon's words haunts me to this second.

If the father refuses me, then the chance between me and the girl is 0 . How do I handle this situation? I'm making him hate me more. A little memory loss and everything went downhill.

( AUTHOR - POV - )

" Dad, we were just talking on that day. He's kind, so please, I just need to see him for a minute or two! " Yoori frowned, arguing with her father.

" Stop this at once! " Mr. Jihoon demanded, eyes burning with rage. " He is a complete nuisance. June would be no help, he'll only cause you more trouble, and me, more trouble. "

A drop of tear escaped her eye upon hearing his words. " Your trust in me is just --gone isn't it ? "

" What ? "

" I don't -- " She tried to fight back the tears that was trying to come out, but failed. Crying, she continued; " I expect you to trust me because that's what a father does, but-- "

" I'm leaving, no more of these talks. And I'm warning you, if I ever hear of him again, I'm sending you somewhere else. " He walked away and held the knob to exit Yoori's room.

" Oh gosh, and what, get me into another accident ?! "

He was shocked at her words, and turned around. Suddenly --out of nowhere, a pillow was thrown to his chest harshly.

" Getting me into an accident, making me lose a friend, not protecting me during the times I was bullied, scolding me for wanting to make goddamn friends but blaming me for not having one; a-and you call yourself a father ?! " She breathed heavily, tears running down her face non-stop.

" How do you know about all this ? "

" You thought your daughter was a dumbo all along ? I'm not a freaking idiot, I can figure stuff out and think if I try to! For the past two days, I've been suffering with a headache since I wanted to know who June was badly . Badly, dad. I desperately felt like I needed to know who he is and , I felt a connection whenever I speak to him. But-- but you! You're always stopping me and treating me as if I'm an untrustworthy bitch."

She caught her breath and wiped her face, calming down, she then continued ; " Look, I-I love you dad, but, if I see you as a father, I need to make sure you see me as a daughter. " Yoori quickly grabs her jacket and walks out of the house.

Her father froze, speechless. Right there, he crouched and hit himself due to confusion. He was thinking of how bad of a father he was and slowly cried at the fact that he hurt his daughter, without knowing it himself.

( KOO JUNHOE - POV - )

I was walking along the streets with my hands in the pocket of my hoodie, when I suddenly saw Yoori standing still in front of me, tears filling her eyes.

" Yoori ? " I called out. " Why are you - " My words were paused at her sudden action. She came running to me and wrapped her hands around my waist while sobbing.

" June, nomu mianhae, ( I'm so sorry, ) I really am. " She tightened the hug.

" What's wrong ? Why are you suddenly being sorry ? What's with the crying ? "

" I finally remember you, and I'm so late, " Yoori continued sobbing.

" I know who you are, Koo Junhoe, and thinking about all the times you've rescued me makes me --makes me want to hug you tighter. I'm so sorry . I should've been earlier. "

" This is early enough , Min Yoori . Thank you for trying to remember me. I appreciate your effort and I'm completely glad but your dad--"

"That'll be our mission from now. " Yoori released the hug and looked at June dead serious.

" What ? "

oh wait, almost forgot ! while this book is almost at it's end, i'm working on another book titled " coffee " . it's a fanfic of bts' leader, kim namjoon . a cute love story that would make you jiggle, i'd say. and it would be a great help if some of you could go check it out and support the book. two short parts have been released early, and i'm planning to finish this current book before seriously going to the next one. okay then, love you!
