Chapter 1: Mom 'nd Dad

Katy's P.O.V

"Wake up mommy! It's already 11:45am and it's Saturday!! Jeez why is it so hard to wake you up, mother" My 7 year old daughter Elizabeth tries to wake me up, but I just put the covers over my face "Just give me 5 more minutes" I joke knowing that she's annoyed.

I take the covers off my face and there she is sitting on my bed with crossed arms all dressed and ready to go.

"Mom you promised me we'd go to the movies today then go shopping and have lunch" She says as she gets off my bed since I'm finally awake. " A promise is a promise honey, what time is it?" I say as I sit up and rub my eyes

"11:50!" She says. "Ok I'll get up in a minute" I say as she goes out to her room probably.

Once she left I laid back down for a minute or two till I got up and went to the bathroom and started to get ready. We're not going any wear too fancy so I just picked a casual dress that had shades of colors.

Once I was done and put some light touches of make up I picked up my black Chanel bag after throwing some things in it and got out of my room to look for Liz so we could leave, I check the time and darn it never been this early while getting ready, it's just 12:20.

"Liz?!" I call her once I'm finally out of my room. "Yeah!" She says from across the hall "You ready?" I say as I walk down and she follows "yeah-NO" she runs back up. I grab my car keys and two water bottles, "what'd you forget?" I ask her once we enter the car in the garage. "My necklace... The one I always wear" she smiles and holds it tightly in her hand.   I remember that day

Flashback

"Congratulations!!! Two beautiful bright girls" The nurse hands me over one of my daughters and John... Holds the other.

I look at him and he's just emotionless, well yes we did not intend to have kids but it just happened!

                    1 month later

John and I rented out a small apartment not far away from my parents home just incase we needed some help with the kids.

I wake up for the 3rd time in the middle of the night to one of my baby girls crying so I get up and start trying to calm her down but it doesn't work, changing her diaper, nothing either. I start nursing her and she finally calms down that when John barges into the room and little Liz goes off again crying in my arms.

" JEEZ JOHN GREAT! Right when I calmed her down! What's wrong with you?!" I whisper

" what's wrong with me? Well I'll tell you what's wrong with me! THESE KIDS IS WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME! Katy you told me this wouldn't happen and that's partly why I was with you in the first place! I wanted a love life and nothing like this!!!I'm leaving and please don't ever bother texting me or calling me ever again, and I'm taking her with me" he says as he grabs Kathy asleep in the middle from the night from her crib

" JOHN! YOU CANT TAKE HER!" I set Liz down and she continues to cry but I can't let him take her or leave. " John you can't leave, look at our lives, they've changed and we just got to continue them as they are"

" it wasn't our intention Katy and getting away from you is the only thing that will make me feel better from the things I regret the most" He says as tears start forming in my eyes
