Chapter 4: The Battle

The remaining five shinobi's were still chasing the rebels and then suddenly.

"They already stopped running, it seems that they found a perfect location to execute the technique" Neji said

"We should run faster before its late!" Kiba yelled.

"I guess this is a perfect place to do that Master, my sleeping technique wouldn't last longer, we should make it happen right now" the guy whom Temari fought with told the long haired guy wearing a black kimono.

"You are right Daikyo, we are the only medical ninjas here, good thing you mastered that forbidden sleeping technique and I mastered the amazage jutsu" the guy said.

"When Gaara is on our side, do the same thing with his brother and sister, we need someone like them to accomplish our mission" said the other one, a bald guy also wearing black pants and armor with an eyepatch.

"Too bad you cannot complete your goals!!!" They were all shocked as they saw a blonde guy in orange who suppose to be Naruto appeared in their place.

"And who the fuck are you? Do you really think you can stop us? You are pathetic!" Said the master of the rebels

"Shinobi from the Leaf! And that Kazekage is a friend of mine so if you wouldn't give him back to Suna then you will regret it for sure" Naruto said

"You are so confident, you are just a garbage!" Said the other rebel

Then suddenly the other four shinobi's from the Leaf Village appeared beside Naruto.

"If you want to take Gaara, it wouldn't be easy coz' you'll have to go through us!" Yelled Kiba

"This is really annoying, the three of you, take charge of these junks and Daikyo and I will find another place to execute the technique" said the master leaving his three comrades and go away together with Daikyo but suddenly, Naruto and Neji appeared in front of them while Shino, Chouji and Kiba are fighting against the three other rebels.

"Where do you think your'e going?" Naruto said, stopping the two rebels who carries Gaara and Kankuro

"Well you really want a one on one match dont you? If you insist!" Daikyo said

Konohagakure

Shikamaru brought Temari to Lady Tsunade. The kinuichi was still unconscious.

"She will be awake soon, before she fall into that forbidden sleeping technique, she was under a special kind of genjutsu that is why she losses a lot of chakra, I'll just leave her to you Shikamaru, I have to go back to the office, she will gain her consciousness anytime" the fit Hokage said.

"Thank you Lady Tsunade" Shikamaru said as the Lady Hokage went out of the room.

Temari is sleeping in bed and Shikamaru sat on the side of the bed beside her. He observed the sleeping kinuichi and couldn't help himself to smile a little bit. "Who would have thought that these beautiful sleeping woman is a scary monster when she's awake" he said and laughed, he still couldn't took his eyes off Temari, her blonde hair and her perfect face feautures amazes him "At least now I concluded that there is still moments when this troublesome woman could be harmless, I never noticed before that she could be this attractive because everytime we see each other, he scares the hell out of me, she was a perfect resemblance for my mom, she might be even scarier" he said.

Shikamaru moves closer to Temari, and closer, and closer wherein their faces where just few inches away from each other. He smiled again and whispered to the ears of Temari "You are the most troublesome woman I've ever met" he said and he kissed the forehead of the sleeping kinuichi but suddenly...

"...what the hell do you think your'e doing lazy ass?" Temari asked who just woke up. Shikamaru quickly makes a distance between the two of them while scratching the back of his head and blushing.

"I'm just checking your'e forehead, the mark disappeared" he said while looking down because of embarrassment

"So that's the new way of checking, huh?" Temari teases him.

"Don't say stupid things! Troublesome woman" He said but then Temari quickly stood but she was still dizzy so she fell down, luckily Shikamaru was on time catching her.

"What do you think your'e doing? You loss a lot of chakra so your body still have to adjust, you better stay in bed" Shikamaru said as he carried Temari back to her bed

"put me down you jerk! Where is Gaara and Kankuro? They needed me now! Theyr'e in trouble!" Temari yelled

"You don't have to worry, we sent ninjas to rescue Gaara and Kankuro. Chouji,Kiba,Neji and Naruto are chasing those ninjas now so you just have to stay here, they could handle that" Shikamaru explained but Temari still couldn't relax

"You dont understand, those ninjas are......"

"Yeah I know, they are the alleged alliance of rebels" Shikamaru continued showing that the ninjas they sent knows what they are doing but Temari is still not convinced. She stood again and took her huge fan.

"I should go there, even though there are ninjas sent to rescue Gaara and Kankuro, I still have to be there" Temari insisted but Shikamaru was also persistent on stopping the kinuichi.

"Why do you have to be so hard headed? Listen to me even just for this time! You still have to recover, you loss a lot of chakra, just stay here" Shikamaru pleaded and held Temari's hand

"I'm not being hard headed, lazy ass! You just don't understand, I went there to save my brothers but I failed, I have to go now myself again, Im not done with those bastards who captured my brothers" Temari said as her voice gets even louder

"Yeah I do understand but ............"

" NO YOU DON'T!!!!!" Temari didn't let Shikamaru finish his phrase, thats why Shikamaru just face palmed and scratch his head again.

"Why do I bother wasting my time arguing with a draggy woman like you? Your'e like my mom. I almost forgot that boys would never win an argument with girls because if girls are right, they are right. If girls are wrong they are still right. What a drag, well thats the way it is" Shikamaru said as he stopped holding Temari's hand.

"This isn't about that girl-boy sort of stuffs that you always say Shikamaru. You wouldn't understand coz' you are the only child in your family. Even though they sent thousands of ninjas to save my brothers, I still couldn't let myself here lying in bed and wait for what will happen, I have to be there even though it means risking my own life, I have to be there even the enemies are stronger than me. Its just that they have my brothers so I have to be there. This is not a mission or an order or what, this is more like a sense of responsibility as their sister, oh, I mean as their elder sister. Even though I know that they are strong enough to protect themselves, there still this automatic feeling that I should be the one to protect them because I am the eldest. Its not an assigned task or being in charge. Its just that, they will always be my younger brothers, and the feeling of being the eldest is like you always have to keep them safe. When our parents passed away, I was the one who took care of them, Im the one who stops them whenever they fight, Im the one who keep our family together because the three of us were the only left. Its no different if they are kids or grown ups, the fact that I was the one who has to keep us all together will never change" Temari explained in a very calm manner. Shikamaru saw the other side of Temari despite of her being strong-willed woman, she was still a woman, a caring and selfless woman.

"Okay I'll talk to the hokage, I'll go with you, we will chase those guys dont worry" Shikamaru said and smiled.

"Why are you smiling like that? It annoys me lazy ass!" Temari yelled getting back into her usual self

"Nothing, its just that you are such a real troublesome woman"
