Sorry it took so long to update. ^^' My neighborhood lost power and sadly wifi. I swear we had the icepocalypse.

There’s so many people here….. For a person who dislikes large crowds of humans, it’s stifling. I look at the map. I hope Gon is right about this short cut.

“Huh…That’s strange.” Says Leorio.

“Why.” Says Gon. Does he even notice the map?

“According to the notice I received,” Says Leorio. “The exam is supposedly being held somewhere in Zaban City.” I frown. That’s all the way across the map… Leorio shows Gon.

“Perhaps you misheard him?” Says Kurapika.

“No. I heard him say to head towards the cedar tree.” I say softly. I overheard their conversation.

“How? You where with us the whole time!” Says Leorio. I cringe. At both the noise and the possibility of giving away my secrets.

“I have good hearing.” I say. Please don’t ask…. Gon smiles at me and I yank on my hood in embarrassment.

“I see….” Says Kurapika. I exhale. I didn’t realize I was holding my breath.

“And this notice isn’t any help!” Shouts Leorio. I cringe again. He needs some volume control. “Where, exactly, in Zaban City are we supposed to go?” Did he not just hear what I said?

“Our task is to find the exam site using a limited amount of information.” Says Kurapika. “Just another test before we’ll be allowed to take the Hunter Exam.”

“I-I knew that….” Say’s Leorio angrily. “I already knew that!”  I laugh. These two are hilarious for humans.

“All life is a chance. The man who goes the farthest is generally the one willing to do and dare.” I say to Leorio softly. “Thus, we should go with Gon.”

“Wise words.” Says Kurapika. I smile, they are my mother’s.

“Anyways, I’ll go have a look.” Says Gon. “The captain must have had a reason to suggest that.” I frown. He’s going alone.

“Hey, hey….” Says Leorio. “You’re serious?” Appears so… “The bus to Zaban is about to leave! WE should just take it.” Gon walks away. I smile. “He’s gotta learn that you can’t trust everyone.” Kurapika stats walking to where Gon is going and I follow. I don’t really want to get on a bus. Too many people.

“Hey!” Says Leorio behind us. “Kurapika! Ko!”

“Gon’s behavior interests me more than the captain’s advice. I’m going with him.” Says Kurapika from beside me.

“I just don’t like buses.” I say softly. Kurapika laughs.

“Oh, is that so?” Says Leorio. “See ya… Wasn’t very long… Nice knowing ya.” I frown. Five, four, three, two, one….

“So it was a trap…” Says a person in an alley. “Seems none of the buses have made it to Zaban City.”

“Rookies usually fail this part because they’re too naïve.” Says another.

“Wait! Wait! Wait!” Shouts Leorio running after us. I smile and laugh. He’s just so special.

“Well, I knew you guys would be lonely without me.” Says Leorio trying to cover up his blunder. “And it’s no fun traveling alone. So I decided to stick with you guys a while longer.”  I ignore him. We’ve reached a seemingly deserted city. It’s quite pleasant.

“This is a creepy place…” Says Leorio. Huh? I like it. “I don’t see a single person…” Just because you don’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not there. That’s a very good thing to keep in mind when being hunted.
