"And that's a wrap, good job, absolutely gorgeous darling!"
I breathed out a sigh of relief as I dropped my pose, collapsing onto the mattress I was previously kneeling on with a small smile spreading across my relieved face. Running a hand through my light coloured strands, I silently debated staying on the luxurious daybed I was reclined on, as I felt my eyelids begin to close, the weight of my day finally hitting me. As my languid limbs bruised further into the mocha coloured sheets, I almost gave in to my body's badly timed request, but quickly snapped out of it, eyes flying open at the speed of a bullet train as I began pushing myself up and off the small piece of heaven with another long sigh. My bare feet hit the ground and I raised my gaze, feeling the last of today's sunlight warm my exposed skin. 'Not much longer', I thought as I gazed down the beach and water to the descending sun which had painted the sky, acting as a backdrop for my last shoot of the day. I watched as the sun continued to dip, lower and lower, until it was almost gone, goose bumps breaking out on my skin with a gust of cool salty breeze. I closed my eyes, appreciating the gentle touch, as the southerly wind brushed over me, winding through my purposely mused hair.
After a couple of admiration filled minutes, I finally tore myself away from natures artwork, and back to the scene that was occurring behind me. Watching as the crew scurried around packing cameras and lights into boxes, anxious to be done and gone before the last of the remaining sun slipped away. So concentrated on my observing I was, that I didn't notice my manager had paced over to me, robe in hand.
"You may want this", she said, breaking me from my trance. Looking over at her, I gladly too the robe with a nod and quiet thanks. After I had wrapped the silken fabric around my lace clad body, I looked over my shoulder one last time, just in time to see the last golden piece of sun slip behind the horizon, before we stepped off the platform that the daybed had been raised onto, weaving our way through the scurrying crowd, back to the tent where I had left my clothes, my bare feet sinking into the plush grass. I curled my toes into the soft, leafy grass as we walked, keeping my eyes lowered to avoid the sudden onslaught of light from the lamps the team had hurriedly assembled, to aid with their packing.
Through the clutter and activity, I heard a distinctive voice calling out, and it took my tired brain a couple of moments to recognise my model name. Turning, I saw the photographer, Pedro, striding through the din, barking orders left right and enter, yet somehow, remaining quite calm overall. I shook my head slightly, I would never know how he did it."You were fabulous today, Celestia darling", he gushed, waving his arms to eccentuate.
"Pedro, thankyou" I slapped on a smile that I hoped didn't look too forced, as the flamboyant photographer got closer, pausing only to yell, poshly of course, yet another order.
Clicking his fingers, he continued towards us, brushing invisible lint off his perfectly pressed designer slacks as he walked. Coming to a stop in front of us, he turned towards Rach.
"She knows, yes?"
Upon seeing her nod of confirmation, he gave his own and spun towards me.
"Then I shall see you tomorrow, darling"
As he ducked fowards, I leaned in and we exchanged kisses on both cheeks, before Pedro gave am excited clap and hurried off, wiggling his fingers as he went. Raising a hand, I chuckled when I saw him snap at a young man handling an umbrella, before turning around and continuing on my path, across the lush grass, Rach tapping away at my side.
Reaching the tent, I unzipped it, before ducking inside.
"Do I have anything else Rach, or am I done for the night?" I questioned as I unhooked the black lace bustier I had been rushed into, and the matching underwear also, before slipping back into my own, leaving intricate black set.
