How Did We End Up Here

Danny and Mikey

It's a boring Saturday morning, and Danny and I are in the living room watching tv. The guys must have still been asleep because the whole house was quiet except for our chatter in the living room.

I glance at Danny from the corner of my eye. " Hey Danny?" I ask her grinning slightly. She so engrossed into this 5sos magazine that was lying around on the coffee table. I lean over and yell in her ear. "HEY! " I say causing her to jump and drop the magazine.

She reaches down to get it. " What the hell Jaz!?" She says picking it up. I laugh and turn to face her.

" So what's going on with you and Mikey? " I ask her and she blushes.
" What do you mean? " she asks confused. I sigh and roll my eyes.

" Well you guys are together now. When are you guys ever gonna go on a real date?" I say laughing. She rolls her eyes. " Well why don't you ask Michael! " She says with a hint of attitude.

" ask me what?" We jump and see michael walking into the room. Danny looks at me for help.
"Um excuse you, it's rude to sneak up on people you know. What if we were armed huh?" I say to Michael trying to change the topic. "Hah well I really doubt you guys would be armed. You have to no reason to be." Michael replies. "But seriously ask me what?"
Me and Danny look at each other as if who's going to do the confrontation. "Ooop look at that I think I hear like calling my name, see ya." I say as I give Danny the sorry yikes look and run up the stairs.

DANNYS POV

Well she was no help. Michael sits down next to me and stares at me waiting for me to say something. "What?" I ask him staring innocently. He all of a sudden starts looking concerned "what's wrong? What were you guys talking about?" I sigh and continue to "read" the magazine and respond with "ohhhh nothinggg. Just about her amazing date with Luke and all and we were just wondering when you were ever going to plan one for us, but it's no big deal, dates are overrated these days. Wouldn't you agree?" I ask him sarcastically.

"Yep totally agree. Who needs dates right?... " THE NERVE!  IS HE NOT GETTING ANY OF MY HINTS! I continue to look at my magazine trying not to make a scene not realizing I'm balling my fist and just respond with "mhm" as he continues what he was going to say "...I guess I will just cancel our reservations for this weekend because dates are too cliche for the mrs." I instantly put throw the magazine down and jump on him "NO NO NO RESERVATIONS WHERE?! TELL ME NOW!!!" He just laughs and shakes his head as he kisses me on the lips.

"Did you really think I wasn't planning on taking and showing you off to the world? Your CRAZY." He has a point but you know, I'm a girl and we overthink things. "I love you" I say to him as I kiss him. "I love you more" he replies kissing me back.
