The walk back home with Michael was silent. But it wasn't an awkward silence, it was more of a comforting silence.

The second we walked into the hiuse Michael keeps his head down and shuts himself in our room. I watch him and see a note in the counter from my mom.

"Hi honey, Greg and I went out for the night here's a 30 to buy a pizza or something. Don't wait up, we won't be back until late.

        -love mom :)"

I pick up the money and look up the nearest pizza places number. I walk to my room and look at Michael.

"Hey, I'm ordering pizza. Mom and Greg are going to be out late, what do you want on yours?" I ask and he looks up at me, the look in his eyes I couldn't read sending chills down my spine.

"I'll just have whatever you're having." He smiles softly. I give him a funny look and walk over and sit in the end of his bed. I study his face trying to read him, but damn he's good at masking it. I flip over to my stomach and move closer to him.

"What's wrong?" I ask tilting my head not breaking eye contact.

"Nothing, I'm fine." He says quietly.

I rest my chin on his stomach, "You seem sad," I look down to his arm which had moved to my back. It sends chills up my spine as he looks me in the eye.

"Just forget about it." He says cooly after a couple of seconds. His big hands wrap up around my waist and pulls me up into if his chest. I jump slightly due to his sudden actions and watch him carefully unsure of what is to come next. He pulls me up even closer to his face tucking a strand of my light brown hair behind my ear. I begin to get nervous and my breathing quickens.

His face slowly gets closer to mine when suddenly his lips crash into mine. I freak out and try to pull away but his hands grip my waist pulling me closer in. When he finally pulls away, I juml off of the bed my heart besting out of my chest.

"W-what the hell Michael!" I cry out stepping back as he stands up.

"Michael you're my stepbrother you can't kiss me!" I squeak still in shock.

All he does is stand there his eyes wide and his mouth open. He stands up and steps closer to me, the closer he gets the farther back I set. I find myself backed up into a wall. Fucking shit I'm screwed. My breaths become heavier as he presses his body against mine.

"You can't say, you felt nothing. I know you felt something." He whispers on my neck sending chills down my spine.

Suddenly the doorbell rings and I quickly slip pass him and jog to the door. I open  the door and a very, VERY, attractive boy around 16 is standing there holding a box of pizza. Oh sweet my life goals have been accomplished, marry a cute pizza delivery boy.

I stand there dumbfounded until the cute boy clears his throat awkwardly making me realize I was staring.

"Oh, um, sorry." I shake my head and hand him the money.

"It's fine," he chuckles, "so are you like Michael's girlfriend or something?" The cute boy asks looking at Michael who walked up behind me.

"Oh god no, I'm his stepsister." I laugh a bit causing the pizza boy to smirk slightly.

"Well my names Josh, and you should leave your number at the bottom of the recipt." Josh winks sparking a glare from Michael.

"See you at school, Josh." Michael spits his name out like its poison on his tongue.

"Likewise." Josh nods and hands me the pizza. I turn back inside and give Michael a weird look.

"What was that all about?" I asked raising an eyebrow setting the pizza on the counter.

"Don't worry about it." He replies bluntly and sits down with a piece of pizza. I watch him then grab a piece and set it down on a plate on the counter then take the pizza box to the couch with me.

"Are you seriously going to eat that whole box?" Michael raises his eyebrows.

"Mmhmm." I nod and turn the tv scrolling through the channels, then settling on reruns of lip sync battle.

"Hey, I'll be back soon. Here's mt number is you need it." Michael says tossing me a paper.

"Ok, just be back before the parents get back." I reply with a mouth full of pizza. He nods a walk out of the door.

He must've been gone for around hour because I was half asleep when a warm object suddenly appeared in my lap and started wiggling around scaring me half to death. I let out a scream and jump up looking around to see a very amused Michael laughing so hard he was bent over.

"It's not funny." I whined then looked down to the thing in my lap. My eyes widen as a small puppy wriggles around in my lap. I drop my jaw as I pick the thing up.

"Oh, my god Michael you didn't?!" I gasp and lightly pet the puppies head with one finger. Michael, who had just barely got himself back together walked over and nodded.

"I was going to the humane society to pick one out of the shelter, but on the way I noticed a dead dog on the side of the road," I listen to Michael's story, "so I went over and found that little guy crying....he was the only one who was still alive." Michael sighed and looked at him sympathetically.

"He most only be, like what, a couple weeks old." I say examining him.

"I picked up some formula and stuff on the way back I already have a bottle heating up." He says sitting down in a chair next to me. I just gape at the little brown and white ball, so innocent yet had been through so much.

"Thank you Michael." I say quietly and set the puppy down and hold my arms open. He gets up and reluctantly hugs me.

"Just wait until Mom and Dad come home." Michael laughs.
