Everything Has Changed (A Niall Horan Fan Fiction)

"AND WE DANCED ALL NIGHT TO THE BEST SONG EVER, WE KNEW EVERY LINE NOW I CAN'T REMEMBER....."

There i was. Front row. One Direction. I glance over at my best friend to see her jumping up and down with her hand in the air and all of a sudden a spot light shines at us, i lifted my arm shielding the blinding light. How could they perform with light like this? I finally came back to reality when Brittney started tugging me by my arm toward two HUGE security guards dressed in all black with the word 'STAFF' written across their chests in bright yellow. They took us behind a red velvet rope leading us over to stairs about 5 steps high. Once we got on stage i could imagine how confused i looked then i began to blush when i saw Niall and Louis look quizzically at me and start giggling. Brittney leaned over and whispered,

"I can't wait to see what we are going to do!"

i just nodded quickly and let everything settle in, im standing here on stage with one direction and my best friend.

"So with us tonight on stage we have two lovely girls! What are your names, loves?"

Liam shoved the mic toward my face making me jump a little, for some reason i was extremely anxious around them. I looked him in the eye, he must have been able to see how scared i was because he gave a reassuring smile and wiggled the mic a little,

"Im Brianna."

I flashed him a smile waving to the crowd along with the other four boys who were now standing right over his shoulders. Brittney had announced herself right after i did. for some reason everything was going in slow motion to me. I noticed every small movement. They way their lips separated with every word connecting in perfect harmony again.

"So Brittney, and Brianna. How would you like to sing a song with us?"

We were both speechless and nodded extremely fast. Harry and Zayn took us and lead us toward where Sandy and Josh were at the corner of the stage.

"Okay, we are going to sing Over Again. You girls sing the chorus with us, yeh?"

We nodded, we knew every single word to every song. They are like a drug to us, how would it be possible to think of anything other than them? They passed us microphones and lead us back to where the other boys were sitting on the steps. Brittney sat on the fist step next to Liam and i was on the next step next to Niall. I sat behind Brittney but Louis was behind me, he kept pulling my hair an making me laugh by tickling me. Niall, Zayn and Harry thought it was funny then moved on to brittney keeping up with the childish antics. The music began to play and the crowd went silent. it was never this quiet, from stage you could really only hear the music and the occasional "i love you" screams. Liam opened his mouth to start singing and i could see Brittney tense up. i tapped her on the shoulder and she knew what i wa doing because she slowly settled. the chorus was up any second and my palms were so sweaty. i had goose bumps and as niall raised his arm to get the mic to his mouth his arm rubbed mine and i got chills like crazy, i began to sing;

"So we can start it all over again......"

i apparently was the last one to notice i was the only person singing anymore. I felt my body grow warm and i could tell i wa getting red by the second. soon enough everyone clapped and cheered. the boys and brittney told me i did a good job singing and we hugged them and walked off stage to where the body guards had previously let us on. after that the rest of the night flew by. brittney and i left right after it cleared out a little bit.

by the time i dropped brittney off and got to my house it was almost 2 am. i was so overly exhausted and i was literally crawling to my bed once i got inside the house. i remember laying down and pulling my blanket over my shoulders before saying "this is the best day of my life." and falling into a sleep filled with one direction songs playing in my head...
