He Said It

    The next day, i was walking down stair after my shower to get breakfast to hear my mom talking to someone.
    "Mom?" I asked walking in to see Ethan and my mom at the table.
    "What are you doing here?" I asked him.
    He stood up quickly and walked to me grabbing my hands and kisses all of my knuckles.
    I blushed at that a tool my hands away, they were getting sweaty from the nervousness. He wouldn't let me though. Every Time I tried to take my hands away he would either hold tighter or if I did get them away he would grab them again.
    "Emerald, I love you. I fell so hard when I first saw you. Even though I didn't get a good look. You are so gorgeous and sweet and kind. I don't know how I got through life without you. So now that I know you, I don't think I can go another day without you." He said before kneeling down and taking out a small black box and opening it.
    I teared up at the sight. It was a promise ring. That means it's real... Right? I've had other boyfriends and small relationships but non of them gave me stuff like this.
    "Will you be my princess?" He asked.
    I looked at my mom then back at him seeing how much he was shaking and how nervous he was just through his face.
    "If you will be my prince, I'll be your princess." I replied
    He smiles brighter then I have ever seen him smile before putting them ring on my finger and standing up, pulling me into a tight, passionate hug.
    He said it. Finally, he said it.
    "Ok ok love birds. I have to go to work. I'll be back tonight don't do anything you aren't supposed to." My mom said.
    I giggled, pulling away from the hug.
    "Don't worry Mrs. Smith. All I'll be doing is making her feel beautiful and protected and making sure she knows she's royalty to me." He said.
    I blushed so hard I could feel it.
    "Love you mom." I said right be fore she walked out and shut the door behind her.
    "So princess wanna watch a movie?"
    "I would love too prince but I have to get ready. I have something really important to go to in two hours and it'll take me a while to get ready then drive there."
    "Where are you going?"
    "School dance. Don't worry my only date is my group of friends who are all girls."
    He chuckled. "Well are you allowed to invite others to this?" He asked
    "Yes I am." I said, smirking.
    It went silent for a moment.
    "Well? Are you gonna ask me?"
    I laughed. "Will you go to the dance with me?" I asked.
    "Hmmmm.. Maybe."
    I frowned.
    "No! Don't be sad! Yes I'll go!" He said loudly grabbing my cheeks and forcing a smile into my face.
    I giggled. "Wow. I really am royalty to you." I said walking up stairs and to my bed room plugging in my hair dryer and sitting on the floor. He sat behind me and wrapped his legs around me alone with his arms and laid his chin on my shoulder and stared at me though my big mirror I was sitting in front of, which hangs on my bed room door.
    I finished drying my hair and brushed it out. I started to do my makeup when Ethan grabbed my foundation and put it back in my makeup bag and put my bag behind him.
    "No makeup babe."
    I looked at him a bit surprised... He called me babe.
    "Oh come on just a little."
    "No."
    "E..."
    "Nope."
    I turned around to face him and sat on my knees. I started reaching behind him then he licked my hand.
    "Ew!" I yelled retrieving my hand back.
    He laughed. "You are NOT getting this bag."
    I tried again with my other hand but more quickly. He quickly pushed the bag to his opposite side which made me reach around him with my other hand instead. He decided that it was a good idea to throw it across the room. So he did.
    "No! All that is expensive! I payed for all of that! It was like $300!" I groaned.
    "You don't be $300 makeup babe! You are beautiful without it."
