The 2nd ALICE kicked a door, braking throughout a classroom. All of them peeked inside. “What the…it’s empty and dusty,” Oz groaned. He opened the next classroom. It was still the same. The 5th ALICE observed the dusty window pane of the hallway. She can’t clearly see everything outside, so when she wiped it using her sleeve, she gasped and took steps backward. “G-guys…” she stammered.

“What?” Oz asked. The 5th ALICE pointed. When they turned their heads towards the direction where she was pointing, it wasn’t very pleasant as what they’ve seen. True, the sky was dark blue and the huge moon was glowing, showing pale and faint light at them. But what was more alarming is that the grounds were buried decaying bodies of people and some remains of bones. Nonetheless, it looked like a huge dump of decayed or dead people. Others were still moving.

The rest of them shivered. “D-do you think they’re the bodies at the execution room?” the 1st ALICE asked between her shivers.

The 4th ALICE took one last glance on it and shivered, shaking his head to take off the scary memory. “Maybe. Figures, because there were even patched-up remains and bones at the ceiling of the execution room.”

“There was?!” the 2nd ALICE exclaimed. Then he rubbed his head with his hand. “I didn’t know execution rooms for royalties long ago were this so gore and disgusting.”

As Oz observed the moving bodies, he thought there was some body that caught his attention. Glancing down, he saw a body of a boy that was glaring back at him. When it hissed at Oz, it showed rows of crooked teeth and a black tongue. Then it quickly jumped towards Oz’s direction. Freaked out, Oz screamed a little and backed away. The body had still its hand and was clutching the window pane, but what was making the whole situation sick is that the body isn’t complete. It looks like the only remaining part was the chest and the rest were oozing blood. Oz thought he can puke anytime.

The ALICEs noticed his sudden scream and glanced at the window. And backed away like Oz did. The body was actually laughing at them, showing his crooked teeth and black tongue. Then much to their horror, it bumped its head on the glass, which suddenly broke. The body, still smiling and laughing grotesquely at them, let out a sickening and disgusting ooze of black slime.

A blood-curdling scream escaped on every throat of the room, echoing throughout the hallways and startling the body. Oz, along with all of the ALICEs, had their mouths open in their high-pitched screams. Then they broke out and ran as fast as they can away from the body, still screaming, as the body jumped and crawled after them in the most alarming way. Since the body doesn’t have feet, it uses its hand to crawl after them, but in a very quick pace and alarming way.

All of them screamed as they ran quick. All of them screamed as they made a turn. All of them screamed when they got trapped in a dead-end. Then they faced at the opening, and much to their dread, they saw the body slowly crawling, it’s faced fixed in a grotesque smile. Then it laughed wickedly seeing them trapped. The 5th ALICE kept pushing Oz ahead of her. “Hey! What gives?!” Oz manage to exclaim.

“In case if that body is after us, you’ll go first then I’ll go after you,” the 5th ALICE shouted, still pushing Oz. He grabbed the 4th ALICE’s arm and pushed him in front of him, who was quick and grabbed the 2nd ALICE. Finally, the 2nd ALICE tried to reach out for the 1st ALICE to cover him, but the 1st ALICE was staying away from their reach, but as far away from the body.

“Hey! Come on! I don’t want to be devoured by this body!” the 2nd ALICE exclaimed, seeing the body crawl a bit faster now. The 4th ALICE snickered, but nonetheless, his voice cracked, “You go first, and then we’ll follow after you.”
