birthmark story idea

I have been recently browsing Tumblr to get some ideas for a potential story to write when i stumbled upon a post that asked the question of: "what if birthmarks were where you were killed in a past life?" It got me thinking and i realized that i finally found the topic for my next story. It will include birthmarks and them being markers of a past life death. It will also include a point that everyone has a nemesis- one person who is literally born to kill you (or vice versa). Normally the person in the pair who is prone to worse behavior will learn sooner that if they don't kill you then you will eventually kill them. Usually this just goes unnoticed or not really thought about as anything more than murder. That's because people don't learn about it until they remember their past life and how they died and by whom. 

  My story would focus on a high school girl who begins to remember a past life and how she received her birthmark and the person who killed her. At first all she remembers is how she died. She has trouble seeing her killer in her dreams. The catch- she was a witch in her past life and when she begins remembering it she begins to exhibit the same powers as those she sees in her dreams. The only people she shares the information with are her 2 best friends (one girl and one guy). Stranger and stranger things begin to happen though and she realizes that what she saw in her dreams were reality. She starts getting threatening notes, weird phone calls, and her birthmark begins to hurt... and to make it worse she has to figure out how to manage the new powers she is getting all while trying to avoid getting killed by someone her dreams won't reveal to her.
