It started out as a want

It swiftly turned into a need.

What she did once

Became her addiction.

Her addiction was to bleed.

The pain over took all other

But it was only for a moment

That moments she did not suffer.

She wanted it gone

She need it in the past

The feeling of pain would forever last

Until she took the plastic bottle, the knife, rope, or even the gun

She looked back once more at her life she couldn't help but shun

She took one last breath

One last swallow

Her life is gone

Her eyes so lifeless

Tomorrow will miss her

But the pain moves on

Her pain spread to those who cared

Becoming contagious

Ripping to shreds all hope and love they ever held.

Their life begins to fade just as it did for the girl.

Few let it spread but the others

They wouldn't dare.

The years past and the pain was still there

It wasn't as bad but everyday there was proof they always would care.
