When we were little, we believed in everything.
Fairies, unicorns, Santa, flying pigs...Anything.
As we grew older, our beliefs disappeared.
We didn't believe in fairies anymore. Unicorns turned into white horses, with a fake horn your mom glued on to make you smile.
You figured out that Santa never existed. It was just your parents , trying to make you happy.
But you grew up. You realized pigs couldn't fly. You didn't believe in anything anymore. Nothing could make you happy. Not even your parents.
When we were little, everything was so simple.
We were innocent, happy and free. We didn't care too much. We didn't worry.
As we grew older, all of that was taken from us.
Our innocence, happiness, freedom.. Were only a distant memory.
We worried too much.We cared when no one gave a fuck about us.
We changed. Everything changed.
I'm here to tell you how my life changed.
How in one night, I discovered that everything I knew, was a lie.
Everything I didn't believe in was true.
And I believed in everything and anything, again.
