"Now this one looks lovely, though it needs more color and we'll need to do your hair up" as my mother critics my wedding dress

"Whatever you say Mum, my opinions doesn't seem to matter anyway" I muttered under my breathe

"What was that darling?" Ohh ohhh.. Mother heard me *scoffs* as if it matters Claira

"Nothing, Mum.." I gave a fake smile, I guess by now you're probably wondering what's going on? Well, I'm Claira Antoinette Lewis, 22 years old and I'm being force to marry though I really have no clue who the guy is. Why am I being forced into this marriage you ask? It's to save our family business. Well, it's not actually to save, but to keep up with the family traditions. You see, My future was already laid out for me right before I was born. My sister, Jasmine, shared the same faith, the only difference is that she loved Hank, and Hank loved her. So she's lucky enough to marry man she loves. I, on the other hand have no idea of who I'm marrying, why my parents choose him and what we have common..

As my mind wanders off, I forgot that my wedding coordinator and her team was here.. Trying to please my Mom, Dad on the other hand is sitting comfortably in his chair, reading the local news, just waiting to sign the next cheque..

"So I've chosen the salmon, the chicken, the beef and ..." Mum went on and on about the food I wasn't really paying any attention to what she says..

"Are you even listening to me Claira??" She wailed at me

"No, Mum" I blurted out without thinking "I mean, yes of course I'm listening to you.." I lied "I've tasted the salmon and I like it" she gave me a stern look..

I'm tired of this, i was about to leave when..

"Claira do change out of your gown and be back immediately, Edward is here" though I have a hunch of who might Edward be, I still have to ask

"And who might this Edward person be? Another designer? The baker? The florist?" I teased.. It's the only time i get to comment or give my sarcastic opinions about this wedding.

"He's your fiancé!" Surprisingly my father is excited to get out of his chair and attend to this Edward.

"MUST WE NEED TO GO THROUGH THIS AGAIN??!" Mother is popping her pills because I refuse to marry someone who I don't know, let alone like.

I let out a sigh "If I must, excuse me" as I was making my way to my room I saw Jasmine on her way to the lobby for her fitting..

"Ohh done already? Boy! That was fast.. When I was getting married mother made me try on 136 dresses.. Coz I said no to the remaining 64" she joked

"No, I have to go change coz apparently my fiance is here.. *sigh* why must I go through this Jas? I mean, you're the eldest so aren't traditions normally passed down to the eldest??" I glumly asked

"Hmmmm.. Claira I really don't have the most comforting words to share but I'll let you in a secret" she smiled

"Yeah? And what is that?" I was intrigued so what the hey..

"lemme help you get ready.." She offered, as we walked to my room

"Claira, I've met Edward" Jasmine said
