Chapter 3

My alarm woke me up just when i was finally asleep - i think - 'cause i hadn't been able to sleep for hours, maybe i just an hour of sleep or something. But that hour of sleep was beautiful. I got a wonderful dream about him sitting on a chair, i go to him, he says yes, and i hug him. The dream kinda made brought my hopes up though i was still afraid to go to school...but i had to know.

"No choice" i whipered to myself as i got out of bed. After a long thoughtful bath and a tasteless, same-old cereal, i got ready for school. There were two major things about to happen - his answer, and a math exhbition at school that we had to conduct.

At school i had a stall in between my two best friends - his was a bit away from me and we could see each other clearly, though i decided not too. i didnt even wanna look at him. Suddenly i saw him coming towards me, i pretended not to notice. He put a chit near my hand on my table and left without saying anything - that got me even more nervous and i worried about my dream just staying a dream.

I opened the chit, eagerly, it read "i like you                                                                                                                                                                       nikki"

i stared at it, i dont know why, was it because i couldnt believe it? Or because i couldnt make out whether it was my chit he sent back to me or his. The previous day when i wrote the chit, i was in such hurry that i barely even saw what i had written. I finally convinced myself that he had written that chit as a 'yes' . it was unbelievable for me. 

he likes me? does he really mean it? can this be true? Am i so lucky that i'm being crushed by me crush?

Okay i was about to go crazy. I wrote him another chit - "what do you mean by 'like' ?" . i know it was the most idiotic question i could ever ask, but the moment was feeling so virtual.

"same as what you mean" was the reply i got

i still couldn't believe it! my heart was doing cartwheels. 

So we kept on "chit-chatting" throughout the event at school, and i dont think anyone (but one guy had a doubt) came to know. At the end of the day, i asked him again (stupid me) "You really do like me right?"

"yes i really do <3 <3 <3" 

It was the best day of my life, A dream come true!
