Can we keep her?

It was a bright sunny day. The clouds looked like giant pillows and the sky reached down to greet the luscious green hills.
I strolled through the field of screaming children and barking dogs and made my way to a vacant spot by an oak tree. As I was walking I heard someone shout

"Dominic look out!"

Before I understood what happened I was pushed against the ground by a heavy force.

"Ouch"

I groaned in pain.

"That's gotta hurt"

Said a distant voice.
I looked up and saw a red haired boy with green eyes, lazily jog over like nothing was wrong. He chuckled for a second and then spoke.

"uh, you OK there?"

I opened my mouth to say something but then closed it shut. I knew better than to give strangers smart remarks.

"Um can you get off me?"

I directed my question to the boy who had just tackled me to the ground and was still crushing me with his weight.

"You're slowly cutting off my blood flow"

He got off of me so quickly that I had to take a few seconds to process the relief that ran through my body.

I stood up and dusted the dirt and stray pieces of grass on my jeans. Soft footsteps were heard coming in my direction.

"Hey! What's the hold up guys-"

The boy who'd just walked over to where we were standing stopped short of his question. He looked from me to the one they called dominic and the red headed boy.

"Um"

I was about to say something but decided against it.

"I knew this was a bad idea"

I snapped my head to the owner of the deep voice. And I regretted it as the pain increased due my sudden movement. He was the one they called Dominic, he had black hair, dark brown eyes, a tan and was about 6,6 so I had to bend my head back to look up at him.

"But  now we found a new friend"

The boy replied. He was about a few inches shorter than Dominic and had chestnut hair with hazel eyes.

"Hey guys! Look what we found!"

He yelled as if I was an object while gesturing to two other boys who were strolling towards us.

The first had blonde hair and bright blue eyes. The second one had dark brown hair and striking purple eyes.

By the time I had finished taking in their features they were standing less than ten feet away.

"Did you get the freesbe?" Asked the first one.
The one with purple eyes punched him on his shoulder and shook his head.

"Right, right manners."

He took a step toward me.

"Let me introduce myself, the name's Jason, the bubbly redhead is Jake, the short dude is Marcus and the one with the weird eyes is Shane and this is Dominic. I glanced at each of the four of them. I tried to spare Dominic a glance but I couldn't meet his eyes. I could feel his intense gaze bore a hole in the back of my skull. There was silence and the tension was slowly rising between the six of us.

Suddenly my head started to spin and pound violently; then my vision blurred. I pressed my palm against my forehead in vain, trying to reduce the pounding that was going on inside my head. It was like a combination of someone repeatedly swinging a slegdge sledge hammer into my skull and pins and needles being dug into my brain. Everything began to spin around.
"Oooooow" I groaned loudly as I struggled to keep my footing. I took few steps back, staggering on the uneven grass and accidentally tripped on a root of the oak tree. I closed my eyes waiting to hit the hard ground but to my surprise; there was no soft grass beneath me, no thud and the expected increase of my head ache.
Instead Dominic caught me. Just when I was about to say something everything faded to black. There was fast movement and a firm grip on my hand.

"Stay with me"
Was all I heard before I totally blacked out.
