"beep, beep, beep"
I woke up, and turned off the annoying alarm. I walked over to a window and opened it. Ah, fresh air, I thought. Out of the corner of my eye I saw my messy desk. I realized that i hadn't done my homework. It was a math worksheet. Algebra. I couldn't be bothered to do this I thought. Our math teacher hated me anyways, my grade wont change because of some stupid homework. I scrambled up the sheet and threw it across the room. It landed on a pile of clothes. What was I going to wear to school today? I looked through my clothes, and found a pair of light blue ripped jeans and a black shirt. This summer things changed. It was September. I couldn't wait for October because I had a perfect halloween costume. I took off my pyjamas and pictured my body in the mirror. "You're so ugly" I whispered to myself. I had light brown hair and green eyes. My face was covered in freckles and my lips were thin and looked dead unless I put lipstick on them. I wore the clothes that I picked and sat on the side of my bed. I cried. Just like almost every morning. Then i heard footsteps coming towards my room. There was a knock on the door.
"Can I come in?" Asked a high pitched voice.
It was my sister, Louisa.
"Of course" I answered and quickly wiped the tears on the sleeve of my shirt.
She was wearing a dress and looked disappointed.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
She turned around and I saw that she couldn't reach the zipper. I helped her and she smiled. I loved my sister.
"Thank you sis" she said and ran downstairs.I went back to a cupboard and looked for my make up. I dragged myself to the bathroom and washed my face. I didn't have enough time for a long shower so I just bent over and washed my hair without getting the rest of my body wet. I wrapped a towel around my head and headed back to my room. I chose a red lip gloss and applied it carefully. Perfect! Now all i had to do was dry my hair. I looked for my hairdryer, but couldn't find it. I walked over to my parent's room and took my mom's hairdryer. I dried my hair feeling like a rock star with it flying everywhere. After that I straightened it and looked in the mirror. Damn girl I thought, you can change from ugly to pretty in half an hour.
"Are you coming?!" Yelled my dad from downstairs.
I made my way downstairs to the kitchen. My mom and dad were sitting at the table already. "Where is Louisa?" I mumbled. My mom gave me a strange look. "Honey, your sister died 4 years ago."
