chapter 8 The lock in

Madison walked downstairs of her house ,she walked to her dad's library where he did business and read books he had a newspaper in his hands.

' hi '  her dad said

' hi dad ' madison said as she leaned on the side of the door

' well remember the project i had ,the one about the hotel ' her dad reminded her

' yeah ,why ' madison noded

' well were having a reunion ,a little get together for the opening at the hotel today and you being my only daughter ,i wanted you there with me  ' her dad said

' well dad you know i don't like those things ' madison said

' please madison ,your the only family i have that i can count on ' a sad father begged

' okay ,whatever ' madison gaved up as she smiled at her father

Meanwhile two mermaids swimmed at super-speed at the mass of bubbles ,they swimmed across fishes ,reefs and even sharks ,they swimmed to mako (moonpool).

' uhhh your really fast marina ' miranda said as she laid flat in the water 

' well your fast too ' marina smiled as she splashed miranda 

' so where's madison ' miranda asked

' i don't know ,i haven't seen her but i need to get to my job ,i start today ' marina said as she swimmed back.

marina walked in the juice net cafe ,it was full of customers which made her smile then she saw shane walking up to her and smiled even more.

' hi ' he smiled as he kissed her

' well hey ' marina was in another world.

' well ok later ' shane smiled ready to leave

' ok i have to start my job anyway ' marina said as she went to the dresser's room to get her uniform on ,she got it on as quick as she could and came out .

' well i want want a strawberry smoothie to go ' it was nikki she was texting in her phone (samsung galaxy) so she didn't see who it was .

' ok then ' marina quickly made it into the blender and handed her the smoothie

' marina !! ' nikki realized who it was

' what ' marina was confused

' well you can't be working here ' nikki was cold

' well why nikki ' marina asked 

' because my friends and your my cousin ' nikki scolded as she left ,miranda then walked in and was confused when nikki had almost knocked into her.

' what 's up with her ' miranda asked

' i don't know ' marina replied

Meanwhile madison was having a hard time at the reunion ,while her father was having conversations and making toasts to everyone when her father called her to meet someone.

' honey this is ronald ,one of my associates ' her dad said

' good ' madison was sarcastic

' and this is his son phil ' he pointed at the young gentle that was behind ronald

' nice to meet you phil ' madison shooked his hand with a bright smile

' hey ,you look beautiful ' phil smiled as he looked at her black long dress. they then went for something to drink .they talked about school and friends and so on when madison saw ryan with his dad somewhere in the back, she did a upset face.
