"What was that all about?" There was no need for small talk I see now, Ezra had got his old lifestyle back and I'd been thrown to the trash once more. I was not a part of his life anymore. I was trying to get into my car when the man stood in front of the door blocking the given entrance. On one hand I want to walk away from him and not give him the satisfaction of knowing how I was hurting but then on the other hand I could hurt him with my words and at this moment hurting him seemed much more satisfying.
"That was the truth Ezra. That was the truth. I can't believe you can chuck someone away so easily, you've disregarded my feelings and only thought about yourself - this matter seems to be a recurrence."
The man looked around him checking for anybody in sight but eerily there was nobody to be seen.
"You know that I love you Aria, but-"
"But you don't. You don't love me, you used me. You used me till you got back what you truly wanted but what you have to understand is I'm not in high school anymore, I'm not going to come crawling back to you. We're done.""Aria?" Liam asked his voice so soft that she couldn't help but smile.
"Sorry, I was lost in my own world. What did you say?"
"I was wondering if you wanted to go out to dinner tonight, get dressed up and all?"
I don't know what I had been so surprised about, it was just a dinner but the thought behind it made me feel happy.
"That'd be lovely, really lovely."The dinner was more than just "a dinner." We'd drove to this place on the outskirts of town, somewhere I had never been before. It was beautiful and I couldn't understand what I had done to deserve this - I didn't deserve this.
The dinner went on, the glasses of wine were quickly going down and everything was great until Ezra walked in sitting on the table beside me.
"What are you doing here?" I instantly asked and Liam just glared over at me, "I invited him Aria and Nicole."
"I see, but why?" I raised an eyebrow trying to deal with the situation as best as I possibly could, the last person I wanted to see here was Ezra.
"Because I wanted to do this." And instantly my heart dropped as the man knelt down.
"Liam-"
"Aria, I know we haven't been a we for very long but I can assure you, the love I feel for you I have never felt before. I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. "So what I want to ask is, Aria Montgomery...Will you marry me?"I saw Ezra look at me, his face pale and I did something stupid - I just wanted to hurt him so I acted on that. Not on how I felt.
"Yes."
