It was all a dare (part 2)

-1 Month Later-

I remember that day very vividly. It was the day that the man I loved broke my heart. Liam keeps calling and texting me and I can't bring myself to look at them or call him back. He has contacted a few of my friends but hasn't gotten to me yet. Yes, I will admit that I did cry for about the first couple weeks and I do cry now but I've been better about it. I was walking towards the bathroom which is the only reason I leave the bed in the morning. I was about to shut the door when I heard a knock. Who in the world could that be? No one has come besides a couple of friends. I walked over to the door and thankfully I had a peep hole and when I looked out I was shocked to say the least. 

"Louis?" I asked not sure why he was here and, what he wanted. 

"Yeah. Hi Emma." He half smiled at me just to be polite. 

"Why are you here?" I asked not really wanting to see him because, he created this mess. 

"I came to apologize for what I did. I took advantage of Liam when he went after someone he loved, and played with their feelings. I am sorry for the way I acted around you, I'm sorry for making Liam still do it even though he didn't want too." He said and apart of me wanted to forgive him quickly but I wasn't gonna be giving in that easily. 

"I'm sorry Louis. I'm not just gonna cave in and forgive you like that, what you did was absolutely horrible. I fell in love with him and you made him play with my heart and feelings. Now if you would please leave that would be appreciated." I said shutting the door before he could say another word. I huffed and walked back into the bathroom.

"Emma, cmon I know you are in there love. Just let me in it's just me I promise." Andie had been saying for the past what had seem hour or two. I gave in and went to open the door but when I got closer I heard another voice. One that seemed awfully familiar. 

"Liam, I'm trying the best I can okay. She is very hurt and I'm not expecting anything from her alright. I will call you when I am done. Maybe by the time I'm done she will call you." She said and I had enough of people lying to me, I opened the door and like she had promised it was just her. I sighed in relief. 

"I swear you were lying to me, I heard Liam's voice." I explained trying not to breakdown. 

"No, no, no, of course not. He made me facetime him to let him know everything." She stood closer to me and placed a hand on my arm. 

"Well, let's go in so no one sees us." Andie suggested and I agreed letting her come in and locking my door.

"So, how have you been and please, be completely honest." 

"Empty, tired, empty." I said laying down. 

"(y/n) I understand that you might be hurt and everything. You need to talk to him, I know it will make both of you better!" 

"What do you mean 'both of us'." I added 

"Liam has been a wreck babe. I know that he truly loves you because he came to me a couple days before this had blown up just crying. He was crying because he loves you so much and he didn't wanna break your heart with this whole dare thing. Please honey, just call him or something." She said and, I started crying. 

"You're right. I've been selfish. So selfish, I love him and he deserves to be happy whether it's with someone else or me. Can you be here when I call him, just to take over if needed." I asked as I leaned into her comfort. 

"Oh, of course! Let's call him." She handed me my phone. I took a deep breath and dialed his number.

"(Y/N)? Is it actually you?" 

"Yeah, hi Liam." 

"Oh, sweetheart. Are you crying?"

"Yeah, sorry."

"No you are completely fine. Um, how have you been?"

"Horrible and I heard you are no better."

"I'm not. I miss you and I can't stop thinking about how bad I hurt you. I never mean't for it to end up this way babe. I love you, I love you with every bone in my body. You make me so happy and when I'm without you everything is grey, I guess you could say that you are my sunshine."

"Liam, I love you too. I want you to know that if we get back together that I don't just wanna jump right back into things. I wanna start over so it'll be like none of this ever happened."

"Alright if that's what you want then I'll do it. Would you like to meet up somewhere tomorrow?" 

"Um, yeah sure. How about that diner round the corner? 10?"

"Yeah that works. I'll see you tomorrow."

"See you tomorrow."

"(Y/N), come on it's a big day!" Andie jumped on my bed since she spent the night.

"I'm up Ands. Let me shower." I said grabbing everything I needed and hopped in the shower. 

"Alright I suggest that you don't eat breakfast and just have something there. I already put some extra money in your purse so you are all set. I'll drive you and all you have to do is call me when you want to leave." She said pushing me towards the door and into the car. 

"Okay, are you all ready?" She asked as we pulled in and I could see Liam already sitting down.

"Yes, no, I'm not sure." I said but she had already pulled me out of the car.

"You will be great. I love you." She said getting back into the car and driving off. I huffed and heading inside. As the door rang when I walked in I saw Liam's head jolt up. He saw me and smiled. I walked over there to sit down but, I pulled into a large huge.

"I missed you so much. You look stunning." He said kissing my cheek. It felt good to be back in his arms. 

"So you wanna start over?" He asked. I looked up at him and smiled.

"Yeah, I feel like it would be nice for us. To just forget about it." I said and he nodded. 

"Well, in that case" He paused to stand up and extended his hand to me. "I'm Liam."

"(Y/N)" I said shaking his hand

"I have a feeling we will be just fine together."
