First I Love You

Today I was going over to Liam's house. He said his parents were coming over and he thought it was time to meet them.

"Li? I'm here!" I yelled walking into his house.

"Hi baby girl! How are you?" He asked taking me in his arms.

"I'm nervous honestly." He put me down and kissed me.

"Don't be baby. They will love you. I mean who wouldn't. Look at you absolutely stunning. My gorgeous girl." I blushed as he kissed my forehead.

"Thank you babe. Do you need any help?" I asked as he smiled

"I could use some help. C'mon.'' He said grabbing my hands and pulling me to the kitchen.

"What are you making?" I asked as he put an apron on me.

"Pasta!" He said and I giggled.

"Alright. what do you have done?"

"I have the noodles done. So can you do the sauce while I make the salad." He asked and I nodded.

"Okay. That was mum. She said they were five minutes away." I nodded as we finished putting the dishes on the table.

"Liam honey? We're here!" I heard someone say most likely his mum.

"Coming mum." He yelled back

"You ready." I took a deep breathe and nodded. He took my hand and we walked to the front door.

"Hi mum! Hi dad!" He said hugging them.

"Aw. You must be (y/n)! My you are gorgeous. Liam here doesn't shut up about you." She said before hugging me.

"Thank you for making my baby boy happy." She whispered to me as we hugged.

"You're welcome." I whispered back as we pulled away.

"So shall we have dinner?" Liam said leading us into the dining room. I sat next to Liam as his parents sat across from us.

"So how long have you two been dating?" Liam's dad asked

"6 months." Liam said taking my hand. "And I couldn't be happier." His mum gushed over us.

"Is he treating you well?" He asked. I instantly nodded

"Yes , of course. He treats me like a princess." I answered honestly.

"That's my boy." He said patting his shoulder.

"Well I so very happy to finally meet you. Every time Liam calls me he always has something to say about you. Earlier today he said that he loved you." I choked on my food.

"You alright dear?" She asked.

"Y-yeah. Y-you love me?" I asked quietly turning to look at him. He blushed

"I do. I love you (y/n)." I started smiling and blushing.

"I love you too Liam." He kissed my forehead. He doesn't like PDA especially in front of his parents.

"Oh sorry if I wasn't supposed to say anything." Liam shook his head at his mum.

"No. I was actually planning on telling her tonight. So thank you for making it a little easier."

"Oh of course."

"Do you wanna stay over tonight baby?" He asked as his parents had left.

"Sure. I'll just borrow some clothes." I said and he smiled.

"Yes you will. So come on. Let's head up to bed." He took my hand and led me up to his room.

"Here you can wear these. I'll go get dressed in the bathroom." He put the clothes on the bed and walked out into the bathroom.

Liam's words played over in my head. "I love you (y/n)" I thought for a second that his mum was just joking.

"You decent looking?" He asked knocking on his door. I laughed

"Yes, Liam." He came in with his hands up.

"Hey I was just checking." He climbed into his side of the bed. He held his arms open as I got into the bed.

"I love you soooo much my love. So very much." He said wrapping his arms around me and bringing me closer to him

"Do y-you mean it?" I asked quietly. Leaning my head on his chest.

"Of course I do baby girl. I wouldn't be saying it if I didn't mean it." He said kissing my head.

"I love you too. Allot actually. I didn't know how much longer I could hold it in." He giggled.

"Goodnight my beauty." He said kissing me.

"Goodnight my love." I said laying back down on his chest and falling into a good nights sleep.
